Just picked up a new 350R 2 weeks ago. I will be daily driving it, given the softness of the Sport Cup 2's I'm already planning for replacement time. I'm just curious what other owners are running when the Cup 2's are spent? It looks like the only options in factory rear sizes are the Cup 2's or Hoosiers.

Check out the Continental Extreme Contact Sports. I think they make them in the R size. Had them on my Cobra, great tire!

Michelin PS4S 305/325. The tires run large compared to the cups. My 325s poke ever so slightly.

When the time comes, I plan on going with the stock tire again, if they still make it. If not, whatever Michelin replaces the Cup 2 with. I don't daily drive mine, though. If it was a DD, I'd go with either the Super Sport, if I could still find some in stock somewhere, or the 4S. The only other alternative I'd consider would be the Continental Extreme Sport. I've tried many, many tire brands over the years, and Michelins have always treated me well. I've grown a certain affinity for Continental, too, as a backup.

Depending on how much time I get out of the Cup 2's I would consider putting another set on, but it looks like the 4S will be more than likely what I go with.

Oh we have all faced this issue. Burn up the cup2's and buy a new set, switch to a street tire on the carbon wheels, or swap to a dedicated street wheel/tire setup and keep the carbon with sport cup 2's for the track. For some reason the market does not have a 315/30/19 street tire available, and most fall into a 305 or 325. Another pickle

I went the extra set of wheels route. One of our Signature Wheel guys spoke with Michelin and plans are to release a 315/30/19 in the 4S, but no set date.

Hopefully they release them by the time my
Cup 2's are spent.
