Like the title says.. I am looking at a vehicle in the Boston area. MA apparently makes it extremely difficult for out of state buyers according to the dealer so driving up, picking it up and bringing it back doesn't seem to be an option. I'm quite picky about my vehicles. It's 17 with 8k on the odometer so I don't expect much less than perfection. I've never bought and shipped a vehicle without seeing it so im a little torn on the idea. Just figured I'd see who might be in the area should I decide I want to proceed

Not in the Boston area, to far west, but not sure anything makes our crappy state any harder to buy from, show up with money and they sign the title over, I only mention this in case the dealer is the problem.

Good luck!

You should elaborate the specific town that the car is located in. And no, the selling dealer is correct, MA does not have a "temporary tag" that a dealer can slap on.

Sorry, my comments were to the original post. Your comments posted while I was still typing. But yes, our state does not make ANYTHING easy.
