It's been damn near 8 months but I finally have the TVS installed and tuned. On black friday I got an amazing deal on a VMP Stage 2 kit, I ended up getting 25% off the entire kit and could'nt pass it up. I ended up selling some of the parts that came with it and made my own custom kit with parts I thought would go well together. The set up consists of a PMAS 120mm intake, VMP Twin 67mm TB, VMP Gen 2R TVS w/82mm, ID 1050 Injectors, JMS BAP, TSS OPG and Sprocket, Kooks 1/3/4 Longtubes w/O/R/X, stock resonators feeding into 13/14 GT500 mufflers.

I have to thank my good friend Jason Roth over at Competition Speed and Sound here in Southern Maryland, his username on here is @TRBO VNM. If anyone near Maryland needs parts or work done hit him up, his prices cant be beat. Hes well known in the Terminator section which is where I met him 6 years ago. I couldnt of done the install with out him and greatly appreciate letting me use his shop and for his help with the install.

As for tuning @Shaun@AED was awesome to deal with as always. Took a little longer to get it dialed in since my front o2s were acting up and I had to get new ones. Each revision he made car the drove smoother and pulled a little harder. Was doing my final revision pull this morning and I could'nt of been happier with how smooth the car drove under part throttle conditions. On top of that for running 93 octane the car pulls pretty good all the way up to 7700! Thanks Shaun and Jason, its vendors like both of you that enable us to get the most out of these Coyotes!!

Here are a couple of pics of the install and one of the car (wife took an awesome shot of the car and I had to throw it in).

Beautiful ride. Hopefully you have some DR’s so you can really enjoy that boost.

The car needs DRs bad, I currently have 315 Nitto Invos on the rear and it feels like its on ice skates. I plan on picking up some 15s this fall with some slicks on them for the track. Id love to throw a DR on my 20s but that is going to be a little while. I should just go out and do a few first gear hits and then ill have to get new tires :).

Don’t waste your time on the 20s.

I’m on 18s and it’ll skip around a little in 3rd on the freeway.

I’m seriously considering some 16” classics for the rear.

I have MPSS on my daily Boss wheels and MT ET SS on an extra set of Boss rear wheels for dry weather. Only having to swap 2 wheels is very convenient and having them match is a plus as well. I also dropped to 3.15 gear from 3.73 which helped.

First gear hits, hahahaha!! At least without some serious tires, and a decently prepped track. Congrats on your newfound power, nothing better imo!

Do you find the car to feel much more enjoyable to drive with the 3.15's? I went 3.73 and then back and wow, what a difference. I did that 5 years ago and still appreciate the difference.

Absolutely! I made a thread in the boss forum on the change. Bottom line, I’ll never ever run a 3.73 again.

I only have experience with 3:15 rear gears as thats what I have. The only draw back to the 3:15s is when doing 3rd gear datalogs that takes me up to around 124 mph when revving to 7700ish. Not really a draw back just have to pick where I do my pulls wisely/safely. Other than that all smiles, the tq down low gets you moving quick even with the stock rear gear.

ya those 120+ MPH Pulls get interesting quick... Do you have a stock stall? If so I am curious what your 60's are when you do get to the track. I have issues getting decent 60's but mine is a centrifugal so that could be my issue more than the stock stall.

Stock stall for now and I love it. Shaun has the transmission tuned to hold the gears a little longer when cruising so its ready to go.

The car should be able to cut 1.5 or "hopefully 1.4s) as it sits with a good tire on the back..... as long as it hooks. Its going to be a bit until I get to the track...... getting ready to move half way across the country.

For your centrifigual, the stock stall is why you are probably only cutting 1.9 60s. Your set up needs revs to make power where PD blowers will build boost as soon as you hit it. If I remember right Rebecca Starkeys car was cutting low 1.3s with the stock stall with a TVS.... granted its pretty much a race car though.

With a stall your car will leave with the best of them, I bet you go from low 11s to low 10s from a stall alone.

Thanks Riddick. Appreciate the kind words and friendship. I need a ride in it now that it’s tuned.
