The other thread got me motivated. So I tried my hand at upholstery. I don't think it came out too bad. Although I do think I'm going to start over as there are a couple spots I'm not 100% happy with. But I'm happy with how the microphone came out and how it looks. Now I need to do the other side.

Meh I personally don't like it. Sometimes people try to hard to be different. I personally like the plain cobra interior.

I'm looking at getting a 2018 F-150, so I'm sure I'll be pretty stoked on having a fancy interior.

It doesn't stand out that much. But to each their own.

Installed new DW fuel pumps and started disassembly for the blower swap, taking my time since it's HOT here in Maine and this is my first supercharger install. Excited to see it on the dyno.

I ordered a Gen Tex 453 for my DD. So pumped! Thanks for the great idea. Do you recall the wire colors for the compass, auto dim, and homelink?

I’m thinking I’ll wire my homelink to remote power since I park it in the driveway.

Confirmed the Gen Tex does not need a constant power source. I hooked it up directly to my battery using alligator clips and programmed it.

Disconnected it and left it on the workbench for a week. When the mirror was installed a week later it retained the programming.

The homelink will only work with the key in the ignition if the 2 power wires on the mirror pigtail are connected to a remote power source.

I bought 3 mirrors on eBay, for $50 each. One for each cobra and one for the DD. My concern was the DD is parked in the driveway and I didn’t like the idea that someone could break into the car and gain entry to my garage/house.

The DD has a sunroof so I tapped into the power and ground. Made the install really easy

Correct, doesn’t need a constant for memory. It needs a constant if you want to open/close a garage door without the car running.

Took it to a friends to put on the lift for some work. Need to reroute my fuel lines, put new alternator on and upgrade the trans cooler. Might actually drive it when done lol.

Did K member, A Arms, bumpsteer, rotors, and poly motor mounts today. It took most the day to do it but it was pretty satisfying. I almost like the bottom side of my car as much as the top. The headers are looking a little worn but they have been on since 04.

New links worked great, bolted on and are very well built. Bit more expensive than standard links but I figured they will last the life of the car. Noticed better performing steering but its probably because my old moog bushings were crap.
