Was researching strut tower braces for our cars. I have a TVS 2.3, JLT RAI. Maximum Motorsports told me it wouldn’t fit. Stifflers told me it would fit and after I bought it, it didn’t fit. In the process of returning it. Does anyone know of a shop in the Tampa area that custom builds them for a decent price?

In for info.

Did MM tell you it didn't fit because of the blower? or because of the intake? Only asking because I have the MM strut brace on my vert and looking to do a 2.3 tvs would have to lose it.

This is what they sent me...

We have no idea if the MMSTB-8 will fit your application or not. We have not tested it with the brand of supercharger that you have.
Unfortunately, the only way to know is to actually attempt to install the MMSTB-8 on your car.

There are too many variations in engine mount height, k-member height, supercharger casting dimensions, etc and the clearance
between the MMSTB-8 is normally very tight. If the car has a JLT air intake tube, I can tell you that it will almost definitely not
fit.

If you do purchase an MMSTB-8 and attempt to install it, leave the foam packing on the MMSTB-8 everywhere except for the mounting
surfaces. Put blue painters tape on the car where the STB will sit.

This way, if the STB does not fit and you return it, there will be the lowest possible restocking fee as it will not be damaged.

I have a TVS with GT500 TB and a MM strut tower brace sitting on the side. I haven't installed it but i did sit it in place and it looked to clear everything just fine.

Here you go. And yes mm is right there are a few things to factor in besides the blower. I run a factory k-member right now too. Hope this helps

I read some where that ford engineer did a test on strut tower . And it did nothing so they don’t add them .

Thats interesting, you would think it would certainly help with making the car more rigid /stiff up front?

I definitely makes a difference up front. If you are running c/o up front it's a must.
Again anything that helps with the rigidy of the noodle frame is a must for these cars
