I just got done a 2 step polish and wax on my 2004 cobra. For 14 year old black I was happy how it turned out. Used Adams swirl killer for the first time and their correcting polish and finishing polish. Then hand waxed using Adams patriot wax. Pictures aren’t great in the garage.

Nice shiny finish man. Love Adams stuff, I use the butter wax.

Nice garage! I use 105/205. Good/cheap but I'm ready for a change. I've done a ton of full corrections for myself and others. I'd like to find a 1 step polish that is somewhere in between.

Is that thing really worth the 200+ dollars over a cheaper da oscillating unit?

so what were all the steps you did? Just the swirl killer, then polish, then wax?

Used swirl killer with microfiber cutting pad and Adams heavy correcting compound on my hood, roof and trunk lid. Tops of the car naturally had worse. Still acid rain but helped tremendously. Then used swirl killer with Adams orange foam pad and correcting polish on entire car, followed by swirl killer with Adams white pad and finishing polish. Then hand waxed using Adams patriot wax

I paid $197 shipped. I don’t have enough experience to say what it’s better than. All I know is I have been impressed with all of adams products I have tried. Like mentioned their customer service is top notch. Also my buddy who got me into the Adams products told me get the swirl killer so so easy to use. I have only buffed a couple cars in my life. Was always a by hand detailer. And using it on the cobra was effortless. And I was very happy with results

Might look into Carpro Essence. I plan to give it a shot this weekend if time allows and it's supposed to be roughly what you're looking for.

OP - Cobra looks AWESOME!
