Hey there, its been a LONG time since I've posted here, but I just traded in my old '14 Brembo car with a Procal tune and Borla cat-back for a brand new just delivered '18 Preformance Pack 2 car with 6 speed. The thing generates ungodly amounts of lateral grip, but just doesn't seem to have the low-mid range pull of my '14 GT. Anyone else run into this with the new '18 GT? Perhaps the dealer put 87 in the tank when I left the dealership and I haven't quite got it all out yet, (just passed 300 miles and filled up with the second half tank) but I swear it feels like it's down on power compared to my old car.

Cannot wait till Ford releases the new Procal tunes for the '18 models though! Actually just called the performance center and they do not have an exact date yet other than just sometime this summer. Bummer

The gearing was changed in the MT82 for the 18's and not nearly as short as the 11-14 cars. I had a procal tuned 12' GT with 3.73's and she ran 12.21 at 116mph on my 19" Invo 285/35/19's.

as said, the gearing was changed and it's longer, which make it feel slower, take it to the track, only true way to tell, betting it puts up better numbers than your s197

I have seen a few vids were tuned cars with 7500-7800 redline are crossing the traps at the top of third or some shift to 4th at the 1000' mark.

I noticed that when I test drove a 2018 Mustang GT this past Saturday. I felt like it doesn't have the same low end as my 2013. I also didn't like how high the release is. Nice car though, I like the Apply play.

They changed the gearing in the MT82 and not nearly as short as in past. My 12' with 3.73's was crazy short gearing with me shifting into 5th at the 1000' on my 285/35/19's.
