So I installed GTA:O again on my PC. Originally deleted it after GTA:O was plagued with modders and hackers last summer. Just jumped back on and holy smokes, its still just as bad. Hacking is less, but still prevalent.

Little boys and their Oppressors and Deluxos seriously are annoying. Just want to be an honest GTA criminal and run guns and sell illegal substances, haul illicit cargo and fulfill hit contracts in peace. lol

Anyone else play? Anyone have similar experiences as me?

Don't/won't play GTA Online for the reasons mentioned above, but I do play LSPDFR. It's the most fun I've had with a video game ever.

GTA Online ruined the game for me. I don't have time for gaming anymore but I used to love popping in GTA for a half hour every now and then to blow off some steam.

The Online shit has become full of cheaters or pay to win if you want to compete. Rockstar can update their cash cow periodically and they reap in cash without having to release a game.

It's been, 5 years? since release? How about some downloadable content for the single player game? I don't have 80 hours to dedicate to leveling myself up to be competitive online. I damn sure not buying a shark card or whatever you want to call it.

Plenty of guides on how to get a solo public lobby. It will eventually catch some randoms, but peace and quiet for a long time. You can even invite your friends. I'm not sure what system your on, but pretty sure you can find the steps regardless.

Edit: Oh you said PC.

Xbox one it's load into a public lobby, then go to network settings -> test nat type -> return to game and be solo public. Best way to do sales and free roam money making activities.

Definitely tried that and I enjoyed sell missions a lot more. Not sure if I care for the high demand bonus for populated lobby's if I can sell in peace.

Definitely prefer 1 or two other players during car sell missions. If youre in a solo lobby, selling cars from your warehouse automatically sends NPCs after you. Expect a $3k hit on car value when delivered because apparently the NPCs in chase cars are snipers with handguns, even from a couple hundred yards away lol.

GTA 5 for me sucked.

Single Player was mostly filler. Lets steal a submarine, oh, let's give it back. Drive to some place to confront his wife or some dumb shit. Wanted level is too sensitive. Lack of updates, free or even if you had to pay.

I refused to play online. Don't have friends who play the game, at the same time anyways, so getting in a group was tough to deal with when it was 12-15 year olds.
Maybe I'll try that solo public lobby out whenever I get bored enough to play GTA.

If GTA 6 is mainly online based, I'll pass.

Daily decimation in GTA V. I fly either the hydra or the pyro. I seek out dogfights, oppressors, Deluxos, and most any chopper. Stand Your Grounds are like a steak dinner for me. I've been hit with the Orbital Strike 87 times now as many can't take getting killed and resort to it often.

Doing the Bogdan (Act II) glitch right now which yields me 1 million dollars every 48 minutes. Just hit the 80 million mark.

Is that in PC? Quick rundown of what the glitch is?

I love flying, though i only fly with my keyboard. Not as good as i could be, lol. Hydra is my go to, but flying touch and go in the Leer jets accross all the airfields is fun.

Currently grinding out guns, illicit drugs and cars. Of course, an easier way would always be welcomed. :D

XBOX ONE.

Glitch.

Closed all my drug businesses as they are a waste of time with the glitch still active. I'm doing it now with a friend. Now at 85 million.

Had no idea this existed (I play on PS4 anyways), but watched some videos. That’s badass!

I haven't played GTAO in ages, last time I was in a few money drop lobbies because I was tired of farming heists just to buy overpriced mods.

My friends and I also had a Five Reborn server going for a while, we might try a FiveM server soon since they were apparently adding features.

Here are some random screenshots from our escapades

Oh it's awesome dude! I'll upload some pictures of my current patrol units later. I use NC-based units (so Asheville PD, can't remember the Sheriff, and NCSHP).

I've tried playing online, but, since all of the people that play daily have a huge advantage, the game is not fun.

It is not regulated nor fair for new players, as a lot of people troll them. Just about every time I've played, I die at least 15-20 times in maybe a 45 minute session. Not to mention, even with "solo public lobby's" you cannot actually partake in missions as just about all require two or more people, and finding people to do those early missions for GTA V Online is hard as it is.

The single player is still very satisfying and hopefully when the next GTA comes out, they try and make it impossible to hack and make it so different lobby's don't get a mix of brand new players with veterans that sit there and use orbital strikes on everyone. I don't see that happening, but, wishful thinking.

I know it's easier said than done, but you guys frustrated with the game on console, jump to PC with it. Even though it won't alleviate your online issues, there's enough mods to make single player carry you for the rest of GTA V's life.

I have everything from graphics improvements (and they're awesome), real branding/streets, a 'be a cop' add-on, real vehicles, etc. Just too cool of an opportunity to pass up.

I play on both console and PC, mostly PC for the graphics.

Same issues on both platforms with online play and dickheads playing, ha.

Is that something that’s online as well, or is it more single player?

If you're playing on PC mostly for the graphics, you're doing it wrong. Lol

While the graphics are a good deal better on PC, it's the mods that make it stand apart from its console siblings.

There are servers that use LSPDFR, but I'm not sure it's the same as GTA Online. Think LSPDFR but with real people basically.
