GT350 resale values will PLUMMET! So will Dodge Demon resale values in a year or so when Dodge tops it. And so too will all vette values when Mid-Engine arrives. And so on and so on. I remember being in the dealership when they wanted 25K over sticker for a Laguna Seca Boss 302. One sold for that. Now you can get that car with no miles for 40K or less. The GT500 is a GT350 on steroids. Which one would you want? Which one is faster? On both street and track? Come on guys...it's so comical hearing the 350 owners say the 500 is a different car. It's not...it's just a better track car! At least the Hellcat owners can minimize the butthurt over the Demon by saying it's a drag strip car so not for them...but This GT500 is just a better GT350. It's meant to slay the ZL1 1LE and Z06. It won't beat a ZR1 on track or Demon in straight line. But it will also be 75K if you can find it for that. Good times. But yeah...expect to lose 20K on your 350 trade ins if you have 15-20K miles on it. Life sucks, drive hard!

The Demon is already starting to drop. Last one that went out through my local deal sold for something like $7k-$8k UNDER MSRP with only 4 miles on it.
I seriously hope you are joking. No way that happened. They are still going for $20K to $30K over. Why in the world would any dealer sell below MSRP when they are going for so? Dealer ads show up on Autotrader and other sites saying that but it's automatic listing for a car already sold. I sold mine last week in one day for $31K over MSRP and I had multiple offers. I do think the prices will start coming down but they haven't yet. Tell you what, show me one legit Demon selling at even MSRP and I promise I'll buy it today.

MarcSpaz - I'm dead serious. You find me a Demon at a dealership that I can buy at MSRP and I'll paypal you $500 for your efforts.

I guess you didn't read my response above. These ads are all over the place. They aren't real. I dare you to call the dealer and ask what they are selling the Demon for. Guys looking for Demons have called hundreds of these ads. Not one single time was it real. It's an automatic listing that happens when an ordered car is shipped. But my offer stands, if you find it's real I will send you $500. Good luck buy I know what the result will be.

I'll get one, and when I sell for the ME corvette, the one I'll sell is the GT500. I bet it it feels heavy, and I also bet it doesn't get first, second or even 4th place as a drivers car, when that time comes. I'm sure I'll like it. Love it? probably not.

I guess you don't realize the Laguna Seca was a $49K car. If it's still going for $40K now, FIVE years later, that's fantastic. The GT350 value is not going to plummet. You guys are giving me a good little chuckle with your doom and gloom value predictions. haha

He is referring to the cars with ADM on them first off. Second off, you have an R car, which we have repeatedly said would be somewhat insulated. If you think the base cars wont suffer, youre kidding yourself.

So youre already assuming you wont love the car - despite its not even built yet - but are determined to get one anyway. Interesting strategy.

Cutting your referral money now? Earlier you said $3k.

Was it $3k? Could be I don't remember correctly. I do remember it was well under MSRP. $93k car sold for $89k or $87k. What ever I wrote before is correct. That was the same day I saw the ad at Lustine.

No, I was talking about @PIPO offering a $3k check to anyone who pointed him in the direction of one selling for MSRP or less.

Demand drives price though.

Mk4 supras sell for $100k today. They were $60k in 1998.

03 cobras sell for $20-40k today. They were $32k in 2003.

The gt350 and gt350r have a wider appreciation than the average big hp mustang buyer. The car over delivered on substance, character, and most importantly fun to drive factor and exhaust/engine etc.

Also, people are buying up gt350’s and putting turbos and blowers on them. They’re the ford and big hp beepbeepwot guys that are tired of waiting for this mythic gt500 and want power. They put their money where their mouth is. There are 2 or 3 boosted gt350’s just in my town that I know of and they all make north of 700whp on chump change boost. They crush the local bolt on hellcat, zl1 and gt500 by car lengths and 5mph at the track.

I bet good money these cars will never fall but ever slightly below $30k 5 years from now. Amazingly fun stock or bolt on. And when the wild hair hits, ~$30k plus $8k of mods will equal very balanced 10 second car. Those recipe’s will always be in demand. I could see the floor being mid to high $30k range honestly.

I don’t see R’s falling below $45k ever. I see them creeping up to $150k in 20 years for clean ones.

00 cobra R’s still sell for $40-$50k+, and prestige ones go higher. They were $55k new in 2000.

Even 93 cobras still command $15-25k.

Not as many people care about the used Chevy or Dodge products for whatever reason. Ford has the chemistry figured out, Chevy delivers on performance but not on driving feel. Dodge delivers on badass and performance but not so much on curb appeal and overall perception.

I think the hellcat is probably the best used performance car money can buy especially with an extended warranty. I want a charger hellcat as a daily driver badly. Not knocking any of these cars, but markets don’t lie.
