Never understood why they cut the CS logo out, unless it was scooping too much air and creating excess drag.

Not sure but perhaps just to have their logo on it to signify it is the Shelby brand? I do not believe the Laguna Seca version allows you to change the oil while still installed. I remember that is why I chose this one. I may be wrong about that but I believe that was the reason.
