No, I've never raced in a busy area, but seems you're admitting to doing this...officer.
I drove by a incident last week just after 7:00am. A couple miles from my house US Rt. 50. Three local responses working furiously over an ejected subject. Just feet away, I passed. One of my buddies an EMT, the next day says did you hear about the accident the little 4 year girl died. Can't comment on the reason, but the 3 kids in the vehicle 1 dead 1 hanging on. Seen many accidents, this one is f-n with me.

My oldest is a paramedic, now lieutenant, but still rides the rescue now and then. The stories you don’t want to hear, believe me.

Maybe I didnt get the full story but is it confirmed they were indeed street racing?? I mean a fatal pedestrian accident can happen at lower speeds too. Not condoning the guy but ive heard of a few stories sensationalized into "street racing" incidents because a sports car was involved.
Any type of aggressive throttle in a modern Mustang puts you above the speed limit very quickly.
And goddamn it, the Mustang jokes are never going end

Rest in peace. Lots of prayers to the family and especially that beautiful child. I have two nephews that I treat like they are my own. 2 years old and 1 years old. Hearing stories like this really does hurt.
I saw one mention of "high rate of speed and multiple lane changes." So perhaps this wasn't a full 1320 pass with someone flagging. Maybe it was one tried to pass the other, who increased speed, the other did, one had to break for a slow car, both went around, one passes the other....and there's a mother and child crossing the road as the car is doing 80 in a 40 or whatever it is.
I'm 100% sure a few cars stopped and said roughly, "Those two asshole went flying past me at double the speed limit."
