Still waiting for a confirmation. Some reports say that popping sounds were heard but that it wasn't gunfire. Another report says a female student was seen getting shot. So waiting for what really is going on to be reported.

They just said the suspect was arrested and some people were shot but no details being given out right now.

Just reported that there were multiple fatalities at the school. No more details. Very sad day today in Texas. RIP to the victims.

Santa Fe, Texas, School Shooting Leaves at Least 3 Dead; Suspect Is in Custody

Multiple people were killed, and others were injured, in a shooting on Friday morning at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Tex., according to local officials. A suspect was in custody.

At least three people were killed, according to Mark Henry, the Galveston County judge, the county’s top elected official. The injured included at least one police officer, Mr. Henry said.

Another student told the station that a gunman entered her art class with what looked like a shotgun and began shooting at students. She said she saw a student get hit in the leg before she and others started running.

This is right near where I work. I have coworkers that live in Santa Fe and relatives of coworkers who were shot. Explosive devices have been found on and off campus. Tired of seeing these events in the news all the time especially this close to home.
