Im in southern california and paid either $3.79 or $3.89 per gallon (don't quite remember) for 91 this past weekend. That was at an Arco too. It was over $4.00 for 91 at Mobil.

Don't really have a choice though, got to have gas.

I was waiting for someone to start a thread about the gas prices rising.
I never really look at the prices when pumping gas, but have been recently. I pay about $3.15 for the 89 octane for my truck and it's about $3.25 for the premium, 93 octane. This is at Mobil gas stations. I only use Mobil gas.
They keep going up too.

As of right now. I'm putting roughly 45 in my truck every day.200 miles round trip just to get to my oil gathering station.. Throw in another 50 on my oil sites. Truck on 14 hours a day, with AC blasting due to over 100 degree temps.

I like when goes goes up. That means oil is up... and that means more money

16.1 MPG in the Raptor, 40 miles per day. Gas prices don't bother me much, until they hit $5 or higher.
How the heck do you get 16.1? I struggle to get 12 and I just have a 4x4 Lariat lol. What's your secret??

93 octane is about a dime more expensive than 91.

I was paying $2.50 max for 93 a few weeks ago.

That's what happened to my first Lightning. It got to where I was spending $100+ a week on gas just to go to work. If I went somewhere on the weekend, I spent even more. It kind of took the joy out of driving.

Last time I got fuel it was at Costco last week. It was $3.30 for 93. 87 octane is $3.09 today. Cant even imagine what 93 went up to...

I am reluctantly considering detuning my GT back to 87. I'm not racing it, and I don't believe I have any mods that will be affected.

Yea, was a fun time owning a Lightning back when gas prices were $4+ for 93. Think luckily I was 2 miles from work back then.

My Gen 2 gets 16.1 MPG which isn't bad. I lived with 13 MPG in my Gen 1 for 5 years :D

Nah 16 ain't bad. Think the Gen 1's hit that when you coast lol.

Most of those owners I was referring to are the same ones that want to put 22's, some stupid offset american forces on the truck, or put a lift kit on the truck.

You won't be saving that much. It's $3-5 a fill-up more. Look at your break point and run some numbers. You'll be surprised how little you actually save from 87 to premium.
