I’ll be there in September to see Queen at the MGM. Wife got good tickets ($795/ticket).

Sedona is on the list then will probably catch the Grand Canyon railroad train up to the canyon then I’m thinking about heading to Hoover damn.

We're booked for September 2-7. Staying at MGM.

OP just remember that vegas strip hotels have a $30/day resort fee on top of the posted price.

.
What's your budget for rooms? Everything is super expensive so prepare yourself.
Depends on when you go. I stayed at new york new york for $75/night including the $30 resort fee each night. Their pricing is all over right now.

Imperial palace car collection

Cirque du soliel show - any one

Downtown freemont at night

Fountains of bellagio at night

Stratosphere observation deck at night

Hoover damn tour

Don’t get sucked into timeshare or vacation speeches. I always tell them sorry I’m catching the red eye tonight I’ve already been here a week. Even if I just got there.

Just watch your pockets and purse, pickpockets galore everywhere

Imperial Palace? When is the last time you went lol.

I enjoy going to Vegas a couple times a year and I don’t gamble. Tons to do. I’m a huge fan of the cosmopolitan hotel. Great restaurants there, and if you get a room with a view of the bellagio fountains it’s amazing. Prepare for expensive drinks and restaurants. It is what it is.

I’ve been to a couple of the cirque shows and I’ve been to absinthe twice. I’d highly recommend absinthe, specifically a front row seat. Think all the acrobatics of a cirque show, scantily clad women, mixed in with crazy off-color humor from the host. All on an 8 foot circular stage right in front of you. Be prepared to get roasted if you sit in the front row—you need to have thick skin. Its a great show.

Plenty of good suggestions given as well. I’m good for two days of the strip, and that’s it. So it’s good to have other plans off the strip as mentioned

For my 40th, my wife got me the best gift ever. A trip to “dig this” off the strip and an opportunity to run an excavator for the afternoon. It was awesome.

Enjoy

There's so much good food and drink around Vegas you can't go wrong if you do even a little digging. Lately I'm all about landing a patio seat at Four Queens, taking in the Fremont freak show, soaking up good tunes from talented cover bands, and partying with like-minded people. I did some serious damage to my liver at a whiskey bar at the Container Park last time. Absinthe was excellent when I saw it last year, but recent reviews hint at a change, not for the good. FWIW, Cirque "Love" was a waste of money.

It depends on what you like to do.

If you enjoy EDM there are plenty of nightclubs and even day clubs to go to. If this is your thing let me know and I can give you a few pointers so you don't stand in a stupid line.

Go to Old Town (Freemont Street) no matter who you are. Great people watching and go at night to watch the famous TV screen over the street.

This last time we rented side-by-sides in the desert and had a blast (bring or wear a face scarf and goggles)

Go see a show! IMO, "O" is the best (Bellagio) but there are others, again let me know if you want tips.

Skip all stupid magic shows (most notably Kris Angel).

Go to the pool and hang out. If it is hot, consider a cabana.

Hope this helps.
