What are the plans motor wise?

For now the motor itself will get some new powdercoating and maybe we'll mess with the heads but that's about it since it's already been built. I've had a Vortec for the past few years but have never had the time to put it on. So we'll see if we can max out a V2 before going turbo.

Just read through all 29 pages. Freaking amazing work, OP!

You read ALL of the thread? Wow, that must have been a long read.

Thanks for the props. Even though I don't get the chance to drive it much it's been a really fun project to have.

The rest of the car is finally prepped, my new Ford OE front core support has arrived, and my Scott Rod panels are here. It's going in for paint next week.

Then the long period of waiting begins.

Wowly shit.

I just read the entire thing, man, what a turn around. My heart sunk when you said you lost 2 exhaust valves, I figured it was done.

This car is more than just "saved" at this point.

Congrats man. You have done a great job.

Just read all 30 pages, easiest way to kill a boring Friday at work. Amazing car, awesome color. Can't believe you had that much patience to fix EVERYTHING on that car. Major props to you, look forward to the rest of the build!

Finally got a decent update from my paint guy worth posting. So far so good.

And I also made an impulsive buy. $600 was too hard to pass up for NEW cams.

Here is what they should sound like after installation:

Yeah kept it about a year, then sold it.. never bought anything else, till recently a 94 lightning... 2011 is in the same shape as yours, completely stripped ready for paint, for now I’m looking for another bab, in case you come up one one, don’t care if stock or modded just want another one...

Just read through all 30 pages OP. What an awesome job you have done saving this cobra. Can't wait to see the engine build/eventual dyno numbers. Kudos to you and I hope you hold on to this car for a long long time.

Well hopefully my car will not be stuck in the paint shop forever. I received updated pics from him earlier this week. I also started trying my hand at powdercoating.

Edit: For some reason the pictures are not loading. I will try reuploading them to another site.
