By the way Congrats on your setup how does 500 Wheel feel on Cobra does it feel retarded fast? Does it keep pulling harder and harder when you bang the gears? Or does it feel controllable?? Im only asking because thats around the power level im seeking for. And thee only thing im nervous in my area is all these modern cars with High HP outta the box. Although id be happy if my car was significantly faster than a C6 Z06 or stroked out Evo

Sorry for the late response just got off work. Well im in San Diego CA i personally dont know anyone that really works on 03/04 Cobra's so thats why i called Steggy and he told me what he could offer and it sounds like a sweet deal and all but im scared of getting all that work and no tuning. And yes VMP wont ship me anything because of State Regulations and what sucks is they do good work from all reviews I've read. I guess for now ill go with the typical CAI,Full Exhaust, Lower and Upper Pulley and some kind of SCT Tuner Handheld and obviously swapping the right plugs and belt for the car i hope i get some decent power outta the car and be happy

I'm in San Diego as well. You can get whatever blower you want. If you made it to the Fabulous Fords Forever show you would have seen all kinds of blowers. VMP, Whipple, and KB as well as turbo set ups. I ordered and F1A and ran it on a past set up.

For a stock blower I wouldn't bother with a lower pulley. I'm only running an upper and I'm happy with it for now.

Thanks. I have only driven it a few days but I do notice the difference both low end torque and power in the higher RPM range.
There is more SC whine when I do hit it (fine with me!). It pulls like crazy in every gear (2nd is my favorite because I can enjoy it without speeding too much). I don't stomp on it a lot, though. It's a convertible so I just like cruising and knowing I can light it up when I want.

I might change my mind later but I think for me, 500HP is the sweet spot. I did not have to upgrade anything else (fuel system, lower, etc). It's a ton of power compared to anything else I've ever driven but still very predictable and controllable.

I think the next project will be interior squeak and rattle removal if I can track them all down....

Man Smh im telling you its a trip that your telling me you see VMP out there because ive tried them and they wouldnt sell me anything. Im thinking that the people that live in Cali probably have friends out of state and order the parts for them and they go pick it up

I have had to have some exhaust stuff semt to my grandparents place in Az. But I had no problem having my F1A shipped here. That's pretty much the same as ordering a twin screw.

I think the Whipple 2.3 has a CARB number.
