I guess my real question is, has anyone had issues running a Bias-Ply on the street? My mustang is mostly a weekend car and will drive to and from the track. Just looking for some input before I drop $500 on tires. If anyone has switched from radials to bias-ply on a manual car or vice versa please chime in. Thanks!

I daily'd my 28 x 11.5 ET Street R bias ply's last year. Ran my drag pack with 17 x 4.5 bias ply up front. Tires hooked great from a dig on the street, but went bald pretty quick. I got around 2 months of daily driving out of them before traction became an issue. I had to run tubes because I got a puncture the 1st week. They seem to be thinner than a radial and more susceptible to road hazards. Also without the tubes they don't old pressure well. I was adding air every few days

First time out on the new bias ply tires. Car went dead straight. Managed to do a personal best of 11.48 @126mph with a 1.74 60 foot. What tire pressure are you guys running? I went from 20psi down to 17psi and kept getting a tenth of a second faster. I was launching off the 2step around 3,300rpm, I'm going to play around with turning that up next time at the track. Overall I'm impressed with the Hoosier Bias-Ply tires.
