Decided to go E85

I've been using Sunoco 260 GT exclusively for the past 2 years. I can get it at the pump. Prices are up nearly $2/gal recently to $8.05/gal. Doesn't help that the pump is 20 minutes away, although I do fill 2 6gal racing containers up when I fill the tank. So, I'm switching to E85. There's a pump 3 blocks from my house that has it and it consistently tests 85%. I can also get E85 55gal drums delivered for $175 total.

Obviously Fore is the way to go on a new fuel system. Future plans include modestly built engine and goals for 900 rwhp (uncorrected).

Level 2 or Level 4? Not much of a cost difference. What kit options do I actually need?

ID1050 or ID1300?

Anything else?

I know I’m not the norm but when I do anything to my car I always get the best so I would do the level 4 and 1300’s. I’m sure it could be done cheaper but fuel delivery isn’t something Id go cheap on.

Fore tripple pumps and id1300’s are needed.
I had divison x dual pumps system before and id1000 until i maxxed them
Out around 900rwhp...

Do you know if you want to go dead head or traditional? I ask because some suggest traditional style, but passing the fuel through the engine a bunch of times is known to heat the fuel up.

Dead head wont do that. But it would seem deadhead might have a drop in fuel pressure at the rails? Anyone have any insight to this?

Fuel heating up by running through the engine bay continuously isn’t really an issue since it circles back out into the tank where it cools back down again. The main cause of heat problems is running multiple large pumps at once. He’ll need to put pumps 2 and 3 on a Hobbs switch to just come on with boost.

I just installed a return system a few months ago and went with a traditional setup. Every shop and tuner I spoke to about it preferred that setup over deadhead.
