This has been a long drug out process to rebuild a car from the ashes. The engine failure occurred on Aug 13 2104 if my memory serves me correctly that is 3 years and 8 months. To the newer members you may not know the story behind this car. To the older members that read my posts about the engine failure of my car and how I was treated by a vendor here and how other vendors got involved to discredit my story.......here is the results of my perseverance to succeed in resurrecting the car from a catastrophic engine failure brought on by a bunch of crooks.

I've named the car "The ACCUSER"

The Accuser of the Brethren in biblical terms is Satan. The Devil said to God that Job would lose faith in God and curse God if Job fell on hard times. Satan asked permission to test Job's faith in God. God allowed the Devil to test Job's faith, because God knew Job wouldn't lose faith in him.

This car has been a test in my life.......a test in my patience. A test in my perseverance to rebuild it. A test in my trusting of the people I commissioned to rebuild it. This car has been the Devil in my life for a number of years. It actually started testing my patience and faith the day I decided to modify it, not the day the engine blew up.

I'd like to name a few people that helped me to rebuild this car to what it is now today

John Mihovetz of Accufab Racing

Tony Bischoff of BES Racing Engines

Shawn Fischer of Fischer Motorports

Bill Miller of Pro Edge Tuning

Mike at Kenne Bell Superchargers

These people gave me the moral support to complete the project and imparted me with the knowledge to achieve my goal of crushing the previous Hp numbers that this car produced in the past.

Jason Teixeira of 1320 Junkie Performance introduced me to Bill Miller and inspired me to trust Bill in his tuning capabilities. He also gave me moral support to complete this car.

Thank you to these people for inspiring trust in me to complete this car with unconventional modifications compared to the normal thinking of how to produce Hp in these cars

I don't know how to say thank you to these people........those words can't convey the the support they given me to accomplish what it took to rebuild this car in the manner I have.

Thank You!!!!!

there are a number of members of the forum I'd like to thank

One member provided me with so many PDF files of the service manual that I must have worn you out. Without them I would NOT have been able to demonstrate the things I did for others to understand how the engine failed. I also would have had a much harder time going through the analytical process to diagnose the failure....Thank you, hopefully you get the Red Baron Snoopy LOL

To the few members that have given me support to rebuild the car, you know who you are and to keep you anonymous from vendor discord I'm only going to say thank you.

Now "The ACCUSER" in legal terms has a different definition versus the biblical terms.

The accuser is the prosecutor in a criminal court of law. The accuser in a civil court proceeding is the one telling the court how he was defrauded and lied to. The name fits both the car and myself in how I was treated by one vendor.

To the other vendor and his supporters this shows that I can persevere in the face of your adversity and actions to discredit me

Yes..........I'm........"The ACCUSER"

I'd love to say more, but I know if I do this thread will get deleted. In fact it may not stand for long as it is, but we shall see.

Here is a short video of "The ACCUSER" in action

When I have a little more time, I'll post a lot more info and pictures of the resurrection

Nice numbers!

Way to hang in there and stick with this, can't wait to see more on this build. Would love to see a vid from under the car when doing a pull on the waist gate/exhaust cutouts opening.

Happy for your progress. I have been around long enough to laugh at your title even though it truly wasn’t funny.

Good to see you back!

Congratulations on rebuilding your GT500, are you running a 3.6 or a 4.2 KB? I read your old thread from the start till the end and I know it was hard to not give up on the car. You're making awesome power. Please post some pictures of the car out in the open and I like the name you choose for the car.

Glad to see you got the car up and running.
The fact that there were no lives lost during it's resurrection is a testimonial to your Job like qualities.

Looking forward to it's first run on the street or track.

I don't know anything about the destruction, the frustration, or the build, but I love the results.

I have to admit, I really like your writing style. You have a talent not many have. I enjoyed the metaphors as well as the descriptive nature that brought things to a visual perspective for those that have no idea what you have endured.

I can relate to a car being a pain, and people being even bigger pains. Even Job's friends turned on him when he lost everything. People are unpredictable at times, and many I have met destroy any type of trust.

Maybe your story resonated with me because I know the book of Job better than I want. My story is a flip side of yours to a large degree. While your car was a demon determined to break you, my car is a personal therapy. My Mustang is far from perfect. It needs a bit more love than I can give it at this time. However, I use the car as an escape. Working on it, and building what I envision is relaxing. There have been a few times I wanted to give the thing away, but once I shake off the frustrstion I am able to get back to work and then enjoy a small victory.

If you have a link to your progress, the destruction, and the build, please post a link. I would personally like to learn more.

Congrats Bad Company. You have been a real contributor to the collective knowledge of folks just trying to go fast and enjoy their rides.

Awesome numbers BTW. Like I say to Biminilx, it’s guys like you that make my measly 662 hp look weak.

:)

Congrats on getting er up and running. Let us know how she runs in Mexico.

Man you have no idea how loud this car is when you're on the throttle. I wouldn't get anywhere close to those things when there open LOL

The transition in noise from open to closed under boost is undetectable in my open. With the exhaust system and mufflers being 3" after the H-Pipe it so loud that you can't hear a difference. In the car while driving on the street you can't tell a difference even while throttling into it slowly to raise boost. By the time it gets to the 6 psi of boost to open the wastegates the decibel is too higher to hear them open. Now as far as the noise level in the car while cruising around in a no boost situation the car is actually fairly civil.

I laugh at it myself today, but I also wanted those that were adversary in the responses in the earlier thread to understand that I don't idly forget who they are either. One of them told me I was a very angry man. Maybe if he endured the crap storm his buddy created he would be angry too. Unfortunately God say to forgive and forget.......I'm not that forgiving after being treated that poorly.

The Accuser in me........ won't let them off that easily

The car has a KB 4.2 with a 168mm mono-blade TB. The SC is being driven at the slowest possible pulley combination available. I'm running a ATI Super Damper in the stock diameter of 7.5" with a 4" upper pulley on the SC. Max boost on the run in the video was 20.2 psi, Bill stated his dyno may read slightly high or low from that number by 0.2 psi. We turned the engine to 7400 RPM for a SC RPM of 13,875. This is very slow and leaves a lot of room with a upper pulley change to reach for the stars and barroom bragging rites LOL.

I'll get some better pictures up, once the car is clean and road ready. It needs a front end alignment bad after the K-member and suspension changes it went through

Welcome back!

Thank you Justin

Congrats on the build!!

Thank You

It actually can be driven on the street with only a little drama in pulling off from a stop. I think I should have installed a heavier flywheel. Once I get used to it though I doubt it will be an issue. If it bothers me too much I have an idea for a transmission modification I'd love to do........unfortunately it costs as much as a simple rebuild of an engine...... PPG Gearboxes for the win LOL

Congratulations! Car is gorgeous and well deserved results!
Thank You

Oh I've hit the street with it in CT at Bill's shop to see if we had any drive-ability issues. The thing is outrageous and a blast to drive once you roll into the throttle, yet it is un-believably easy to control the power. Bill at Pro Edge Tuning did a wonderful job of tuning it.

My Job like qualities were tested to the limits.........and that is all I want to say about that

LOL

I've had some time to think of how to present the fact this car is back up and running again. It has been a long journey that I hope no one ever follows. It has cost me so much in time, energy and money to fix what should have never happened that to me it truly is a resurrection. To many this car was long gone and would be a barn find fifty years in the future with a sad story behind her life. Along with the thought that I or she would never be heard from or seen again together with a vibrantly beating heart in her engine bay.

You make me chuckle with the comment....."I know the book of Job better than I want" life has an interesting way of testing you from my experiences. I find if anything is going to go wrong... I'll be the one it goes wrong with, especially when it comes to anything mechanical. But with that said I gain knowledge that others don't usually have because of that experience. Is that a blessing or a curse. Which did Job actual have? What was his rewards in the end?

Unfortunately the thread of the build and failure of the first engine were deleted. With the wrath I endured during the time that lead up to the deletion of the thread, I'm afraid to say anything about it now. The ones that read it will understand exactly what I'm talking about, the newcomers won't.

I will be posting some information about how this build went and the mods to achieve the power "The ACCUSER" is producing. Some of those mods are a little unconventional, some have been done by a very small group willing to endure the costs to perform them. If I had another $50K to sink into the car.......you guys would really think I was nuts with what I truly would like to do next LOL. I think my wife would pull out one of my other toys and shoot me though

Somedays I truly wish I still had a measly 662 hp. I'm unfortunately a Horsepower addict. My personal email address for years has been [email protected]. A person I purchase parts from for my business sells hot rod parts for diesel engines. He imparted me with a little saying a number of years ago that has really stuck with me

When a guy breaks something on his hot rod and he doesn't have the funds to fix it immediately, he says "they're in horsepower rehab"........it fits so well with a junkie needing a fix and having to go to rehab to stop the urge. When you're in horsepower rehab.........you're rehab facility is whether your wallet is flush with cash or empty.........if it is empty......you endure rehab whether you want to or not LOL

Thank you for the kind words on my contributions, some would say my words were destructive instead of instructive. My thread was me trying to enlighten others of the poor performance of a few that are held in a high esteem with modifying these cars. Out of it came a lot of knowledge that others could use to understand how these engines are designed, built and meant to work.
