There's a sale locally for a quickjack and I'm thinking of getting one. The one I might get is the 7000lbs one and I can use it on all of my 4 cars.

Just wondering if it's worth the price of admission.............especially now that I've modded the Shelby where some previously available jackpoints are no longer there and it's starting to get to be a PITA lifting that car up and obviously the Z06.

Yeah if kpinco could chime in on which one he has that would be great. I posted up the link above of the one I'm thinking of getting which is BL-7000SLX (7000 lbs. capacity), most people go with the BL-5000SLX (which is 5000 lbs. capacity).

Happy with mine. Only thing I would say is that they are a little heavy.

Cman01 - you can't go wrong with either one! Once you figure out where to put the blocks it's so easy to use. I can lift a car to change wheels, detail it or work underneath in minutes!

Where do you put the blocks, kpinco? Seems like they’re too big to place on the pinch weld on the GT500 without potentially damaging the side skirts.

Maybe he uses the pinch weld blocks (avail. separately not part of the lift when you buy it).

I wouldn't get them if I bought a QJ I'm currently using modded hockey pucks to lift my car around the pinch weld areas and I would continue to use them with a quickjack.

Right now I missed out on the 7000lbs quickjack (they have sold out), they still have the 5000lbs ones but I want the heavier duty version so I'll wait till they are avail again before deciding if I'm going to get one.

I hadn’t looked at the accessories, that might be it, but they look a little too large as well. Looking at one of these myself. I don’t have the ceiling space for a lift and this gets the car up much higher than jack stands....liking what I see here.

I put them under the pinch welds. I was concerned at first but it’s just plastic and doesn’t damage it at all. I have hockey pucks but I actually like the blocks better. It covers a bigger area on the pinch welds and very secure. The blocks are heavy duty rubber and fits great.

So my online Costco store still doesn't show the 7k lbs version in stock but it says I can now order them and it would ship in about a week or so + a little cheaper in price than before.

Looks like a win win for me so I'll sleep on it tonight and there could be a QJ coming to my home shortly. After that escapade with my exhaust pipe coming off and fixing it with the car barely up high enough to get under it I think it's time for one of these for working on all my cars.
