Been a long while since I've posted. Long story involving deployment and then the shipper pushing my car off the trailer with out ramps. Any ways I'm close to finishing the car all that is left is the bumper getting painted and getting the car tuned. Anyone care to guess what I am going to put down? Below are the highlights of my setup. I'm going to guess 523rwhp and 515rwtq.

Stage 5 port, 2.76 upper, 4lbs lower, ported Dragon throttle body and plenum, JLT RAI, JLT 110mm MAF w/ VMP 5000 sensor, off road X, and Bassani catback.

I plan on doing a build thread once I get everything done and I get all the pictures from the process consolidated. Hope everyone is having a good one out there today.

What fuel? 93? If so

520HP 510TQ

Thanks for your service. What ass hat pushed a car let alone a Cobra off a trailer with no ramps? Hope they’re footing the bill.

Thank you very much and it is my pleasure. Love what I do and proud to do it.

It will be on 93 for now. I don't think the guy knew what kind of car it is. Took me 4 or 5 months to settle with the insurance over it. Came out to be 5K in damages. Thankfully I took a lot of photos from every angle prior to loading and after loading at my house. Completely destroyed the front bumper, chin spoiler, header panel, catback, wheels and tires. Thankfully only mechanical damage because it could've been a lot worse. Got all OEM parts in last week to her painted and restored to her rightful glory. It was very sad to see a 1 of 23 car with 70K miles be treated like that.

Damn yeah that is. Happy it’s back on the road.

Where are you taking it to get tuned? I am going to say 526rwhp and 522 rwtq

Holy crap, why would the guy buck your car out like that? What the hell was his excuse?

I am going to RPM Performance and Machining in Ft. Walton.

No clue why he did it but he tried to deny it.

I’ve seen a few 2.76 hit 480ish, especially on 93, I’d be careful with timing trying to squeeze a whole lot out of the eaton when it’s already being pushed hard.

What the hell? How could he have denied it with that extent of damage? I mean, seriously! Did he try to see it was already damaged like that?

Well, congratulations on nearly the completion of the repairs. I see you have a Sonic Blue coupe. Popular color! Numbers will depend on the tune in large part. If you get a conservative tune your guess is probably very close to what you'll see on the dyno. Let us know!

Long story but he forged my signature on the bill of lading and a few other things. In the end the pics I took before loading and after saved my tail.

Yeah I love the sonic blue color. I actually sold a black 03 to get it because it was sonic blue with parchment inserts. The plan is to do an all out pull to see what she makes then get a pretty conservative tune for driving around. My plan is to have a nice good looking cruiser. So after everything is fixed from the shenanigans I'm gonna hold off on go fast parts and invest in making her look good.

With the mods you have listed, 523 rwhp is a pretty aggressive estimate. A more realistic number would be 522 rwhp.

I had a very similar set up and did 530.

You might yield better results with a 2.9/4lb or 3.1/6lb combo.

That was the sweet spot for me.

I've been getting mixed reviews. Some say 520 to 540 is what I should expect and some have said that it is a far fetched dream. I am hoping they actually get her on the rollers tomorrow and I can find out for sure.

It’s time for the big reveal, how did it go?

Yesterday was suppose to be the day, but when I called they said they were still working on the base tune. Not sure what is taking so long but I'm getting very anxious to see the car run after not seeing her run in for ever.

Finally heard back from the tuner today. They couldn't put the car on the rollers in short it sounds like I have a vacuum leak some where. Tuner said he couldn't get the idle below 1200rpm. He also things the MAF doesn't have enough room between the filter and the sensor causing it possibly have some effect on the way the MAF reads. I'm not a tuning expert but is that something I should look into as far as the MAF goes? I pretty much have the same lay out as the factory. It goes filter then MAF, intake tube and then throttle body.

Put a screen on the MAF to straighten out the airflow. OEM setup has a screen.

Finally got every thing buttoned up and tuned. Made 515rwhp and 530rwtq. Not too shabby but now it is time to enjoy the car for a week or so then I'll drop her off to get completely repainted Sonic Blue.
