I'm looking as well. I run 315 30 18 and I've been pirelli pzeros and they suck imo

So the Toyo 888 are truly ok in the rain?

Don’t drive like a smuck, and you’ll be fine. I have all seasons on now due to the cold temps but I was thoroughly impressed with how well the R888s did in the wet. And I didn’t have the new versions that are supposed to be better in the rain.

I have tried so many different tires, including Nitto 555R on my Mustangs and just cant get a good hook. I bought my Viper with BFGoodrich G Force Rival... hooks great. Could be the car hooks better, but I plan to try it on my Cobra.

I recommend the Toyo Proxes R888R’s. I have two Cobras and run the Toyos on both and have been through several sets. My coupe is 700 rwhp and my vert the wife drives and hauls around our two kids in. I love them. Best tire I have ever ran for the street. I’ve tried about every brand out there, Michelin, Bfg, Nitto, Pirelli, Yokohama, Hoosier, M/T, Drag radials included. I’m in Fl so snow and super cold weather is not an issue for me, not sure where you live.

Yes I have the 888’s on my vert and coupe. The road noise is not bad in my opinion, probably hear them a little but not enough to bother me. Both cars have Borla stingers though so not like they are quite anyhow.
@fitforspeed - how big are the rears?
I have some 11x19 F14 Forgestars arriving shortly and I know I can fit a 305/30ZR19 on them but can't find info on if I can fit a 325/30ZR19 on them!

Yes I would say you should be able to fit the 325’s on the wheel ok. It may have a slight pulled in look on the sidewall but nothing too bad. I run a 315 on a 10.5 wheel which should be the same fit as a 325 on a 11. Depending on offset and how low you run your car will determine how well they will fit in the car wheel well though.

I have been considering the R88R's. How do yours perform in wet weather? The only time I drive in rain is accidental, I only drive the car in good weather, but sometimes here in Memphis you never know when the sky is about to beat down on you.
I have a 03' Cobra that puts down about 460/480 and want something that will hook up nice but still handle well.
