I was thinking the same thing. If these cars had a better/larger intercooler you may could take the blowers on up more.

Really nice piece! You have any idea how many CFMs that flows? I am really thinking that my stock intercooler is the big restriction in my setup. I really don't think the stock intercooler was designed to flow the air of big 3L and 4L blowers.

Not exactly sure since Griffin hasn't been the easiest to get any information out of regarding what went in to it. In any case, it was designed to be an improvement in air and water flow, so I am sure it will be a step up.

Ya I just finished my build and not happy with it. Have not even tuned it yet and I want to do some major changes. I just see this piece as being my biggest issue as 30+psi on a 3L blower and an intercooler that flows stock about 800cfm (the bigger GT500 flows sub 1000cfm). Always wondered if I could get someone to make a better flowing one.

This has been discussed and the one sold by LFP is inferior by those who've ran it and logged. Goffin knows this. They were warped as well but supposedly "that's" been fixed.

Check eBay that's where I got my last one.

Right, because the last decent thread “discussing” it contained a bunch of praise, then an abrupt “...it’s a POS” comment with zero explanation. I go off my own use and experience rather than what the forum “experts” claim, but you hate LFP - we get that. Mine fit perfect, and I’ll give Griffin credit for knowing what they are doing in making this unit better than the OE unit.
