Kind of a new product. Haven't really seen any threads about it in the Terminator section. Just wondering if anyone is using this as oppose to Torco.

I see the Dodge Demon guys are experimenting with it pretty heavily. It's allowing them to have access to their "Race Tune" and not have any of their knock sensors go off. Here's the thread I'm referencing... (It's a very interesting read)...

Reason I'm going this route over E85 is I live in a pretty remote area and this is likely the most practical route for me.

it all does the same shit. its just an additive to raise octane. and the dyno number don't mean dick unless they tried them all on the same day. different days are gonna result in different dyno numbers so his tests against other fuels are worthless!

I hear what you're saying there and good point. I'm not caught up in the Dyno numbers, I'm more interested in the fact it let the Demon enter the "Race Tune" and had no knock sensors go off. I'm sure Torco can do the same thing there's just a couple things that interest me about BOOSTane.

One thing I read about BOOSTane is that it doesn't leave behind an orange buildup on your spark plugs. Don't know how true this is tho. Maybe someone has taken it through it's paces on here and can confirm that?

The other thing I like is BOOSTane says their product will stay suspended inside the gas tank, meaning it will never settle at the bottom. Not a huge deal either but pretty cool. Here's a little side by side experiment done...

I've always used Lucas Octane Booster. I get a 12 pack 15oz. bottles on amazon for $82.00 shipped. Works out to be $6.83
bottle. I only use it for insurance.
Boostane is $151.00 for 8 16oz bottles. I'm sure its better but I'm going to stick w/ Lucas. Bang for the buck Imo

I used Boostane in my CTS-V. YES, IT WORKS. I went from 20 degrees timing on straight 93 with occasional knock, to 24 degrees on 93 with 1 can of boostanewith no knock at all.

It definitely left a slight color on my plugs, but never effected spark in the 5k miles.

Very cool this is a nice to hear. Was pretty set on Torco but think I'm gonna roll with this. When I'm finished rebuilding my engine and tuning it I'll report back with some results.

FYI I'll be using the BOOSTane "professional" as oppose to the "premium". They sell the professional in a 5 gallon pail and it's a little more potent.
