Currently, the GM performance drive trains are among the most expensive and desired on the black market. CTS-Vs are being stolen on flatbed trucks right in front of peoples’ homes and right in public in front of everyone watching.
How many people buy these cars and cant make a payment? Not many, which is why you should call the police any time you see a flatbed loading one up with Mexicans driving. Yes, they’re almost always Mexican. They are used to commit almost all of the big money drug and auto crimes down here because they do it for next to nothing, then Americans get involved and make BIG profits and don’t take much, if any, of the risk.

around here, SE Texas/Houston area many of the car theft rings/gangs are Hispanic and some Black. The drug cartels in Mexico are largely responsible, cars are stolen here and moved into mexico, many are used in cartel operations....it is what it is.

These crimes are easy to commit in the Houston are, huge metro area that HPD and other agencies simply don't have the man power to police adequately. I have a friend that's been with HPD for nearly 20 years, he and one other guy on his shift work/patrol a huge beat.
