I also see a lanyard release connector I designed when I worked for another company, you can see them hanging next to the pilots in a couple of the photos

Looks like they aren't being used.
There should be a cable running from the pilots to the lanyard connectors...its a quick release to make it easier for them to exit the aircraft.

My job sucks.

That’s awesome man. My dad retired as a 60 ilot and I have pictures he sent me flying over the SOL.

That’s the Air Force’s Pave Hawk/“special bird”.

I was in the HH-60M (Medivac) aircraft attached pic and with the above photos, per the cockpit pics you see.

Are you talking about the two cables hanging from the ceiling on the inboard side of the pilots? If so, that’s for the HUD. While there is a day HUD and night HUD, most only wear the HUD with NVG’s.
