Some of these kids have lost their minds. Someone needs to teach children how to throw a punch again, and stop using a coward's way out of their anger.

Growing up, a fight was not a big deal. A few punches were thrown, lessons were learned, and at times friends were made. Insanity.

Hind sight, there were at least two kids back in my school that I now realize had the potential to be a school shooter. THese kids were just not right in the head. Yes, they were bullied, however, one kid didn’t have a father in his life, his mother was poor and, well, didn’t seem to pay much attention to him etc.

These kids don’t just need to toughen up, they really are ****ed in the head and need help. Perhaps we need a program that helps teach kids how to not only identify potential risks, but also a service that reaches out to these kids and get them help. I tried to befriend one of them (just talked to him every day), but something just wasn’t clicking with him. I think he had just completely isolated himself at that point. At the time, I knew he was messed up, but didn’t realize the potential risk he could have been. Kids need to be educated on this topic.

Regardless, I am very happy to see that someone stepped up and stopped him. After CNN ran with that story of the resource officer discharging his firearm in the school, we needed something positive, although, no shooting would have been best, obviously. I bet CNN doesn’t print this.

I am willing to bet a large sum of $ that some of my classmates thought I was going to come in with a gun one day. However, good news is I was not a complete moron. WTF is wrong with these kids?

I'll give you one hint as to who told kids they can't fight: The ideology begins with the letter coming after K and before M.

Allow to me get O.T. here, in a sense, but it relates back to the schmuck in question. Here the state championships in high school basketball are played in Hershey so when a team wins and makes it to Hershey, the ghey fans toss Hershey kisses on the court. Yesterday a local team won but not w/o controversy. The local team was up by 3 with a few seconds left and the opposing team missed a 3 point shot at the end but was fouled. The retarded student section apparently tossed all of these chocolates on the court thinking the game was over but it wasn't. The referee gave the team a technical foul so now the losing team had 4 foul shots. Long story short, one of the liberal morning hosts of a radio program blamed the ref rather than the followers who couldn't follow rules. These are the people the liberal media is looking up to for leadership and guidance just like the ladyboy up above.

I agree with this whole heartedly, my wife works in the public school system and the shit I hear daily is depressing. When loser ass people have kids they didn't want in the first place it doesnt tend to work out well, its sad really.

not that this is the answer in its entirety or anything but it definitely seems to play a part

Totally agree. The problem is, it only takes one kid to take the coward's way out. The numbers are just not in favor of the good kids anymore.

Geez, people are really going off the deep end... I've been saying it for years, there needs to tests for people to be allowed to have children - financial as well as physical and mental health. That and MANDATORY birth control for any women on any form of public assistance, no birth control shot, no food stamps, Section 8, welfare, unemployment, disability, etc. Absolutely zero exceptions under any circumstances.

Society seems to be spiraling down the toilet the last 15-20 or so years, there are just more crazies than ever and I don't see things getting any better

How do kids get access to firearms? Do people leave them laying around unlocked? Man I would have gotten my ass handed to me if I ever tried to break into my father's firearms when I was a kid. Locked case, trigger/chamber lock, ammo in a different area.

No different than leaving your keys in an unlocked car and wondering why it was stolen. Was it the cars fault? No. Some idiot consciously stole it. But you didn't help the case by making easy for them.

Irresponsible parents! Part of the ongoing trend since the 60's. Maybe start hammering the parents who allow this to happen. If it comes out the parent left the weapon unattended throw his ass in jail also. There is such a thing as shared responsibility.
