I have wanted one of these cars since they came out, after finally being in a stable financial situation with, most importantly a garage. I finally bought the car I have always dreamed of owning.

45K on the odometer right now. Interior is near immaculate, a couple of blemishes on the paint but hey, its a 15 year old car.

Engine was completely rebuilt in late 2017, it has a Stegmaier ported Eaton and a bunch of other minor mods. Probably wont be touching it in the near future besides swapping out the 29/45 rears for a set of 295/35's. The 45's are way too tall and rub.

I have the FiST to drive around the rain/cold so this will likely be a garage queen for me.

Congratulations on buying your '03 Cobra. Looks really nice. With the ported blower you're making some nice power. Did you buy it out of state? You don't have 93 octane fuel there so if the current tune is for 93 octane, you'll need to get a new tune, of course.

@Lundy37, I love your vert. Really sharp looking with the black wheels and black light bar.

Na I bought it in CA, I have actually known the previous owner since middle school so I was pretty familiar with the car. I told him a while back if he every wanted to sell it I would purchase it off him so here we are. It made 472/448 on a mustang dyno back in January of last year, that was before the engine was rebuilt and the blower was sent back to stegmaier to get rebuilt so I would be interested to see what it can do now. I have a station that sells E85 a couple miles up the street from me so it might be worth it to get a tune for that. Ill have to do some more research into it.

Hell yeah bother. Welcome to the club. I know when these guys started telling me to save money for the mod addiction I just laughed. 450hp is enough for me. Well now I’m at 600 on pump gas and it’s still not enough. It gets expensive but it’s worth it. These motors can safely handle 700 on E85 all day. Great looking car and lots of help around here. One tip is if you drive w a golf glove on your right hand it helps you shift faster. Congrats

That is a big plus that you know the previous owner. On lower octane fuel, you're making nice power based on those Mustang Dyno numbers. You likely won't see a big difference after the blower rebuild, but if you do check the numbers again try to use the same dyno your friend used to get a better comparison of before re-build and after re-build.

Enjoy your Cobra!

You absolutely should. Couple vendors on here that can set you up with the right fuel components. I've seen some ID 1000 and 1050X come up for sale, look for a deal on those. A good fuel system from Fore will run you around 1300. With no other changes you'll pick up around 50 RWHP/TQ.
