I'm not holding my breath on a V8 options. The wrapped shape has a lot of promise. Can't wait to see it when it's unveiled. It should be a hit for Ford if they nail the design and features.

Surrounded by libetards.
I think if Ford positioned Bronco against Wrangler with 2 and 4 door versions and various engine configurations and an available stick it would be a home run but that's a pipe dream. Wrangler has zero competition niche.

Hmm.. wonder if I could convince the wife to trade in her xSport.

A bronco would sure look nice parked in the garage next to my 18 Raptor.

If that really is the shape of it, I’m gonna like it. But they better offer a V8. No ecoboost BS.

I will be absolutely flabbergasted if they offer the 5 liter. Ford is determined to ram ecogarbage down our throats. I'll even be surprised if it has a V6 in it. I'd bet on the 2.3 Ecojunk. I have never owned a 4 banger, nor will I.

Guys this will be a 2.3 EB. No removable top either.
Pretty much, if they are feeling generous maybe see the 2.7 as an option it 2nd tier motor but there's almost certainly a 0% chance of seeing a V8.

Jeep got too big anyway. A 4cyl stick shift on a small rugged 4x4 is absolutely fine with me. Back to basics. I'd like a real cheap one with steel wheels and center caps.

I assume they are going for a Bronco 2 remake anyway so why would it have a 5.0. The idea of the rebirth of a brick shaped fullsize B with a v8 is nothing more than a hilarious pipe dream IMO. Not saying it wouldn't be cool but I won't be mad at a 2.3EB powered capable overland rig that's aimed at the 4runner.
