Great video! As all your instructional videos are. Very helpful to those doing the oil change for the first time. I'm going to add a link to the video from my Terminator FAQs tomorrow. I have instructions there, but the video will be more beneficial.

Thanks bob. I actually gave you a shoutout and a link to the shifter gasket on my transmission oil change video

It is a rip off for sure. It is said you can use Mobile one full synthetic 10W-30.. but be careful because I have seen people put motor oil in and have bearing failure shortly after

I did..mobile 1..200k ago..

I had rechecked just recently..

oil is still clean as new and full..
That is impressive. But I wonder if someone running a smaller pulley like a 2.76 and making a lot more heat would have the same success?

To each their own and if it works for you that's great.

However, I'm under the impression there's a reason supercharger oil was designed and why it is recommended to put it in your supercharger and not motor oil. Most people do not put motor oil in their transmission nor their differentials. It's called gear oil for a reason.

And yes, I have taken my Eaton apart (removed everything except the internal roots bearings). I used all recommended supercharger oils, blue bearing grease and red Anaerobic sealer to put it back together.

Glad it's working for you, but I wouldn't do it.

For the record ive never used motor oil in any blower of mine, always use Government Motors blower oil. How often should you be chang the oil in a 20 psi twin screw? As expensive as that stuff is you would think it would have some decent longevity.
