I recently had stage 2 Procharger installed on my 16 GT and a few days ago started noticing what may or may not be normal. After I make a few pulls it starts chirping much louder almost to the point where it is annoying. It continues to make this noise after pulls while I'm driving normally. Is that normal or a bad bearing or something? Love the power and how smooth and quick it is but starting to worry about this noise, Any suggestions appreciated.

Way higher pitch than mine is. Something not right. I imagine you still havent hit 500 miles? Id start by checking if it has oil in it, how much. The actually draining it and putting a fresh bottle into it. Might be a belt alignment issue.

thanks. Yes I just got it back from the shop last week and until today made only a few short pulls. But I remember a few days ago after a short 3rd gear pull it started sounding like that but then went away. Today I definitely felt it right after 4 consecutive pulls. I ll just take it back to the shop that installed it, I ve watched a dozen of youtube videos and none sound like this-hight pithced squealing. Hopefully its just like you said, a belt or a bearing and I won't have to send the blower back to procharger and wait weeks to get it back. I went through so much shit with my 12 pullied CTSV that I almost didn't want to get back into a modded car but ended up doing it still. Ill post an update once I get it figured out.

Thats even worse. Hoping its just something thats loose and creating an alignment issue.

I have D1x straight cut gears and it doesn’t sound like that.. did you change your oil at 1st 500 miles? If you didn’t you may have already ruined your gears and bearings, and voided your warranty. If did change your oil change it again!
