Beautiful.

But Black hides the lines of that sexy bitch. If that car was white with all those carbon fiber parts, holy moly! Thanks for sharing DBK. Will there be a new allotment for these competition series GTs?

There is a white one on order.

Federal regs require the car to have a backup cam + screen to view it on etc after MY18 so can't continue the car as is.

That thing is absolutely dirty, he should wash it!
;)

Looks killer. Does anyone know a quantifiable difference between this version and the "regular" Ford GT on the track?

Plexi slotted rear hatch
Titanium Exhaust
Titanium Lug nuts
Carbon Fiber Wheels
CF prop rod instead of gas strut
Removal of interior NVH padding material
Lightest interior material (full alcantara) package
Gorilla glass bulkhead
Deletion of Radio/AC/Rearview Camera system/Speakers/Stowage bin/Cupholders

Then a bunch of the little shit like fasteners/bolts are lighter materials, and a bunch of the lines they run in the tub for the deleted systems are gone.

It's not a mammoth difference. I would say compared to the typical spec that you see in mags it might be 100-150 lbs lighter depending. Wheels/Exhaust/Radio/AC is probably ~80 lbs over the standard stuff.

150lbs on that car is quite a bit though. Puts it around 2900#...crazy for a 650hp car.

The combo on that competition series is great. I personally love the black with carbon fibre accents. When I was at Multimatic back in Aug 2016 the foreman told me those paint booths were big $$$ along with the paint jobs.
