SCT XCal3

Hey SVTP,

I purchased a custom tune on an SCT XCal3 about 6-7 years ago now while I was still a 2V.

The car's been off the road undergoing some major changes and it's nearing completion.

Is it still usable? Or does it belong in a museum? lmaoo

As far as I'm aware it's still supported. I had my Marauder tuned at Revolution Automotive in MD 2 years ago and they had no problems with using the Xcal3. Mine is one of the earlier units as well, most of my friends have the later units which had a totally different menu layout.

I will say though, my black Marauder came with an Xcal4 which is a much more responsive and better looking unit. I might have the tune for the red car shifted to an Xcal4 at some point.

You should be just fine.

I am still using an older X3 on my 13 GT. I originally purchased it for my truck back in 2010-2011. Just returned the truck to stock and its been working fine on my car. May not look as pretty as the newer ones but hooks up to my laptop just fine for data logging.

Just make sure you do the updates for it
