We're in FL are you located?
Do you have the "SHELBY" door sub covers?
Do you need the Shaker 1000 already to make this system work?

I Do not have the 2 door sub covers I am sure the Shelby store can get them as they still sell those woofers with the covers for just over $100 also it fit's all 05-09 mustangs with 500 0r 1000 systems. Iam in Palm Coast

What's the best you can do for local pick up? Don't really "need" a new system, but if the price is right it might be worth it lol

Did the amp go also? Looking for one. I upgraded all the speakers in my car to the Kicker's, but think they need the amp to really get everything out of them.

The kicker amp is mediocre at best. I have this setup in my 13 as well as I’m the one who bought this one. The sub (which is absurdly priced at $750) actually hits pretty good. But the volume for the door subs and 5x7’s still isn’t very loud unless you turn it way up. I bought the amp by itself a year ago for $299 and while it is an improvement, it’s far less quality than you could get aftermarket for the money.

Ok thanks. I just wasn't sure if aftermarket amps were compatible with these kicker speakers specifically made for the Shaker 1000 system. I thought the impedance of these speakers in this system were different than most systems or something. Thanks for the tip. I'll have to research a good amp to put in, hopefully something plug n play.
