Hi, The passenger side of my hood is 0.0001mm away from touching the fender and there’s not much room to spare on the drivers side. I’m concerned these will start chipping if it shifts anymore. Is this common? And is it an easy fix? Thanks

Without seeing the car in person, or a larger view of the car, my first assumption is that is a new hood, or the car has been in an accident.

It looks like the passenger side fender needs to come out just a little in the front. That is where I see an adjustment being made.

My car is the same. Even new cars came like that from the factory. There are numerous threads on this as well as the rear bumper issue. Most over looked it when the car was bought. It is what it is.

I was able to loosen the front most fender bolt and slide the fender outward a few mm. There is actually a good amount of play to work with. Now there is a decent gap so I can stop stressing about it:

Good job! Most people are afraid to pull out the wrench.
