I' looking to purchase an oil separator. Just wondering what the consensus is as to which one works best. I can't seem to find many different variations. I like the Bob's catch cans but doesn' have a list for the terminator cobras. Any suggestions?

ya thats kind of what ive been reading. any suggestions? does bobs work for motors?
I tried to make the bobs separator work, but I couldn't find a suitable location with there bracket.
I ended up buying a elite engineering separator, using there hockey stick style bracket. I had to grind down some where the nut attaches so the separator would sit lower. Otherwise it hit part of the hood. I also used hi temp DEI wrap around some of the hose that touches the cross over.
This unit is quite large and has worked very well. My intake plenum is nearly dry now. Previously I ran the jlt unit, didn't have any luck with it.

You didn't search that hard since there are a ton out there, and many threads on the subject. They don't have to be specific to the Terminator to work since you can mount them anywhere, by the way. There is a great one that can be found on eBay for about $50 and works very well. Don't waste your money on those puny ones that are way overpriced.

Not termi but i made mine for 20 bucks. Red hoses collapsed so im running trans line now. And painted the main part black.

I have to second Dubbs on this one. I have a Elite Engineering one on my C6 for a long time now and I will be purchasing their newer E2 style can for my Cobra. Excellent quality and Steve over at EE is a great guy to deal with. very helpful.
I have a Bob's that mounts using a fender bolt next to the master cylinder. There is a thick "washer" between the fender and chassis that is removed when the bracket is installed.
Doe you have any pics of your Bob's catch can installed?
I don't have one now. Getting ready to go on vacation. I'll get one after I get back.

Sorry this took so long to get the pictures. It was a nice vacation. Saw 92°F at Chichen Itza. Our first time snorkeling at Cozumel. We usually dive but our friends that came w/us aren't certified.
When I bought the Bob's oil separator I originally purchased it for my '99. Bob's said they were working on an '03/'04 kit and I got one for my '99. But when I first purchased my '03 they didn't have the '03/'04 kit so the one in my '99 is now the one in my '03. It looks like the universal kit should work if the bracket is flipped and the part that sticks out is cut to the appropriate length and a hole drilled in it.
I added a fitting on the bottom of the valve so I could fit a hose that snakes down. Now, every couple of weeks, I just have to place a small bowl under the car and open the valve at night. I leave my hood up so I know to close the valve and remove the bowl in the morning before driving.
On the '99 the Bob's collected a couple ounces a month. If I got on the throttle right before I got home I used to get a puff of smoke at start up the next morning. I thought it was valve seals. But after I installed the Bob's the puffs of smoke went away. I think the design of the Bob's oil separator is one of the best out there.
I bought a new PCV valve that doesn't have a 90° elbow on it (I think it was from a Vette) so the hose is straighter. And please don't mind the dirty engine bay -- I drive my '03 more than most. Not a pure daily, but close.

I get heat for it because it's expensive, but I really like Mishimoto's oil sep.
