The run these on my 1999 GT as a front coil over kit and as rear shock and they are fantastic. I will be going with these for the rear of my cobra and the front when I do a UPR K-Member on the Cobra

Any coil over noises from the front end?

After you get these installed update on the rear noise it's what I'm curious about if they're clunky at all. I know my front upr coilovers were awful, I've since switched to mm which have been a lot quieter

Fronts just came in. They look like nice pieces. Can't wait to install!

Did you buy them from me through Facebook? I worked with Viking on this IRS kit and helped them with development. It's a bad ass kit and we're selling the heck out of them.

Contact me if anyone wants one of these kits! I'd be happy to hook you guys up!

Has everyone seen the Viking double adjustable rear IRS coilover kit that they are coming out with? It's $588 plus shipping for the complete kit. Thoughts? Worth it? Is Viking high quality, I have no experience with Viking? Better than Maximum motorsports?

I have some rubbing in the rear on the outter edge of the insode fender. Would this prevent that? I believe I need a stiffer strut maybe

I tried the stiffer strut because I have the same rubbing and they didn't work. I'm just going to roll the fenders and I purchased front and rear Viking coilover kits so I can raise and drop as needed.

Since you'll have full adjustment of your ride height, it should help with the rubbing. I would also run a stiffer spring on the street. The car we tested with had a 250lb rear spring and it was perfect. I tested the ride height as low as it would go and never had a tire rub with the 315's. The exhaust was scrapping though LOL.
Let me know if you need a set of the coilovers!

I don’t have many miles on the set of DA shocks I bought from you awhile ago. Not sure if I want to make the switch or not just yet.

For my curiosity what would be a more strip/street oriented rear spring?

Hey Troy, a 12-225lb to 12-250 spring on the IRS Coilovers is a good street/strip spring rate. You can always sell off those DA shocks and pick up a set of coilovers :)

Any new reviews as far as ride quality or ability to hook up with some power? I'm hoping to be a Tax Season Baller and pull the trigger on a set of these in a week or two.

Some confusion here it seems. Viking are not "handling" setups. If you want improved handling you'd want to run properly valved shocks paired with springs like MM does. These viking use a low spring rate designed to help straight line traction. You would never use a 250 rear spring in a "handling" car.

I understand that nightmare, I'm looking for straight line traction I was just asking if moving the spring helps traction or is it a mute point the spring on either side makes no difference. Because you're changing the geometry a bit, so does the moving of the spring benefit the irs or hurt the irs.
