Sum 41 at Elliot's Rooftop Party in DC by Elliot in the morning was pretty amazing. 50 people and the band at a pool party for like 5 hours. Buddy won the tickets and asked me to go. One of the best ive been too by a good margin.

I've been to tons of concerts but the most memorable ones were both at The Showbox in Seattle. First concert was Thursday, Thrice, and Coheed and Cambria who all just killed it that night. They all sounded really good. Second show that was awesome was As I Lay Dying and August Burns Red. It was crazy in there.

Gary Allan and Dierks Bentley had a concert at Red Rocks probably 10 years ago. I had never and still have never been to a concert with that amount of energy. Everyone, including the musicians, were having a killer time. It didn't seem forced, like they were performing for people but natural from both guys. Almost like they were doing it for the fun and nothing more.

I haven't wanted to go to a concert in a long, long time. But if I knew another concert would be half as much fun as that one, I would go.

The best concert(s)?

Probably the ones where the band had yet to really breakthrough like Eli Young Band, All American Rejects, and Bowling For Soup. Those were the "best" because they were performing just a few feet away.

My true favorites would be Jimmy Eat World and Matchbox Twenty.

Metallica/Guns n Roses/Faith No More tour in 1992.

Was a high school sophmore and uncle got me ‘pit’ tickets so i was in the very front for ALL those legends in thier prime. They were beyond great.

Amazing atmosphere and about 10,000 titties out and hot bubble asses with thong underwear whale-tailing out of the top of super cutoff shorts that showed thier ass bottoms.

A close second was Tom Petty at Irvine Meadows in ‘99. Still in his prime, still kicking ass, and i was partying with 4 half naked girls. Got high as **** and laid multiple times by the one who asked me to go.

Damn Yankees/Bad company was great, as was Red Hot Chili Peppers/311.

Been to literally hundreds of concerts but those stand out.

Also been to a ****load of punk/hardcore concerts, but if you’re single, country concerts are EPIC as ****! The ratio of hot women to men is like 10-1. I went to a blake shelton concert and holy shit! Tons and tons of talent. Fish in a barrel essentially.

I agree about Damn Yankees. Saw them with Jackyl and Slaughter, that was a helluva show. Ted is so fun to watch.

and +1 on the chick to dick ratio at country shows!!

Bush @ Belly up Aspen. 2017. Was freakin' awesome. Got to high-five Gavin at .59 and then sing with him before he went and stood above our table. I'm in the red polo, lol. Turn the volume down if you don't want to hear the camera man sing bad. If you're ever in Aspen, go to the Belly Up. It's a blast.

I saw Bush in 1996 in Pittsburgh at the Igloo, the old Civic or Mellon Arena. It was their Razorblade Suitcase Tour. Veruca Salt opened for them. Great show!

Hunter Hayes? I think was his name. Concert was HORRIBLE, but guy to girl ratio was 10:1 if I had to guess, mostly "country" girls ,18-24 in tight short cut jean shorts with low cut tops.

Kings of Leon @ Mesa Amphitheater in 2009. I have seen them several times however this was the best atmosphere/weather etc.

The reason I enjoy them so much in concert is how identical they sound to the actual album.

Another close one would be Michael Buble - he is a true entertainer and interacts with the audience a lot!

Not really a concert freak like the wife is.

However, I have seen Blue Oyster Cult, Chevelle, Seether, Future Leaders of the World, and 3 Doors Down. We are getting ready to buy Def Leppard/Journey tickets next weekend.
