When i enter STRIXGTX1080TIO11GGA into the search bar to bring it up, i then enter my zip code. It says "not available for online shipping"
Wow, I had no idea they were in such high demand. I just checked redit and people found some for sale yesterday and they sold out in 12 minutes. I might try out a used card. Not too many people use 1080ti's for mining so maybe you could find one with light use.

I dont trust used cards. I rather spend a little more or wait longer for new.
Yeah you have some options. I don't know if you are open to watercooling but EK just made blocks for the 1080ti. You could buy a cheaper founders edition and watercool it. There is probably an AIO liquid cooler for the FE cards that would work too.

I just ordered a bigger cooler for my case so I will see how that works. I rather just wait for the better card and not over clock it.

Not sure if anybody has talked about this...

But my case is pretty dust free. I havent cleaned it out. EVER

I believe the trick is, positive case pressure. I have 7 or so intake fans, but only 1 exhaust fan. This creates an ever so slightly positive presusre and helps "push out" any dust inside. Also stops dust from entering small gaps and cracks in the case where there are no filters!

I received my new monitor yesterday. My FPS at 2k @ 144hz isnt too bad playing PUBG. I also received my first ever solo chicken dinner in my first game using the new monitor What a coincidence! Here's the monitor : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824011082

I cant comment on quality etc since i came from a very old 1080i monitor. Of course it's better.

Even though i can play well enough on my gtx 970, i am still waiting on a 1080ti in my price range. I will purchase when I see one in stock.

@Intervention302 are those compression fittings on the connections in your loop? I have been using barb fittings and worm clamps forever and want to make a cleaner looking loop in the future.
Compression fittings yes!

I had my friend help make my loop about 1.5 years back or so. Zero issues. Zero maintenance

Ya I would never use anything but compression fittings, so reliable and easy to work with

Built a new pc during black friday. My old one was upgraded to the max and the graphics card would crash randomly; couldnt take it anymore. Plus it was originally built in 2008 so it was time for something new. Only re-used the PSU, AIO water cooler, and drives.

AMD Ryzen 1600x OC'd to 3.9GHz
Asus Prime X-370 mobo
RX580 8GB graphics card
16GB DDR4
Crucial M.2 524GB main hdd
Samsung Evo 256gb SSD
Seagate 2TB storage drive
EVGA 750G2 PSU
Corsair AIO cooler
Coolermaster Pro 5 case

Damn makes my rig look super outdated lol.

I'll probably upgrade at some point. But my junk plays BF4 on high/ultra just fine, So no point upgrading yet.

So I decided it was time for something new, to start 2018 off right. I revamped my gaming desk. The old desk was getting a bit crowded. I also took this chance to update my monitors. I had three 22.5" Asus monitors and now I have three 27" Samsung curved monitors. I also picked up a PC new case, with increased liquid cooling capabilities. I was thinking about upgrading my GTX 970, but I came across a second identical 970 for $200. So I am just going to run two 970's SLI for the time being. I am behind the times on CPU/MB (AMD FX8350-BE), so I didn't want to spend any serious money until I am ready for a major overhaul.

Here was the before pic. Been running like this for about 5 years.

Need some help. I've had the Astro A40 tr's for about 6 months now and have had nothing but issues with them. At one point I couldn't get the audio clear with just the USB plugged in to my PC. I fixed that with using the optical cable connected to my mobo and USB, now the audio is clear and no issues. But now I when I'm in a discord chat while playing a game (within mins), the mic just cuts off. I have to reset the audio settings in discord and or turn on/off the mixamp. Mind you I don't have a sound card and wonder if that's part of the problem?
If anyone can help that'll be great. If nothing works I might just look for a new headset.
