Those of you that signed up for the GP on the crank saver stud kit and have done the purchase did you receive your item yet?

I did mine last Saturday and usually I ship stuff to Niagara Falls for pick up but this time I wasn't in the mood to drive there just for this part so I paid the extra fee for it to be shipped to my home in Toronto. Latest tracking info says it's in Chicago so maybe the end of the week for it to show up at my house.

I know Kinetik mentioned 2-3 day for delivery in the US so just wondering if any of you have received your part that signed up for the GP.

Might have to make the drive after all early next month, need to ship something I'm selling and most likely I just might come back to Canada with a TB and damper for the Shelby..............we'll see.

I jumped the gun and got my kit before the GB came together. Install was a snap. My crank threads were clean. You could cut a the threads lengthwise on the OEM bolt to use as a thread chaser. OEM bolt is one time use, so nothing is lost. Most thread chasers I've seen won't be long enough.

Locking the parking brake and putting the engine in 6th gear will hold the crank to the torque spec, after it rotates enough to take the slack out from the drivetrain. I've got most of my intercooler hoses disconnected, my fan is out of the car and both reservoirs are off the car, so it was a breeze. If all of that is in place, it may be more of a challenge. You may be able to take the bolts off the degas tank and move it off to the side. I do than when swapping out upper supercharger pulleys. You will need a deep 12 pt socket to tighten to the recommended torque setting.

You may be able to get it from underneath the car, but if all the OEM components are in place, you have quite a bit of things to remove to get to it. I would think it would be harder to torque unless you've got it on a lift.
