Bullitt looks great, I like that overall concept and package a ton.

Back to the mustang, the bullitt is great. I’m very happy with what they did.

Fun fact, every bullitt has had a modest power bump.

00 260hp went 265hp. Mainly gained torque.

08 300hp went 315. Decent bump in torque as well.

So for anyone watching the Ford on stage presentation, the show ended with an announcement of what appears to be a 2020 Mach 1 hybrid.
I googled '2020 mustang Mach 1 hybrid' and now it says Ford execs are looking at the Mach 1 as a PERFORMANCE SUV!
WTF, isn't there brand identity with Mach 1/Mustang and say, Lightning/F150?

I read the same thing. I was pretty shocked to read that the Mustang will have a hybrid/EV variant, but the Mach 1 will be an SUV. SMH

The more I look into the bullitt, the more excited I get. I like the exhaust note is tuned to be darker/coarser, I like the tunes loapier sounding idle.

I like manual only, que ball shifter, optional race seat, etc.

I even get the small chrome strip grill surround because it’s a throw back element. I’d personally just swap it for something body color or black but I get it.

475hp, na, with the rough and tumble nature of the 1960’s seems exactly like what a fun daily driver should be.

I already have ridiculous hp in my 03 cobra, and end up driving on very low boost just so I can get traction and feel the pull from a stop light.

Cafe racing is honestly much more fun versus highway battles.

A snappy na car geared high, and barking deep, with that level 2 performance pack, and maybe a 3.73 to 4.10 rear on the now longer spread mt82e would be very fun. The mt82e has a 1:1 4th vs the mt82’s 1:1 5th.

I want one. Shut up and take my money

Also keep in mind magazines are getting 12.0’s for the new auto GT. They were getting 11.7’s and 11.8’s for the hellcats. That’s all down to launch and putting power down. 119mph vs 126 is a big difference in the 1/4. But how often does a stop light drag reach 125mph? A well done, peppy na car will be more fun and more exploitable in most driving conditions in a city.

I would be completely ok with a V8 Hybrid AWD Mustang using the Mach 1 name if done right. An all electric SUV??? No thanks!
