After my epic Dopey Challenge event at WDW (collected all 6 medals) it was time to head out of there to my next hotel stay, on the way stopped into VMP and chatted with Justin Starkey.

His new place is pretty massive (over 40 acres) and he has plans for more buildings on the property as the company expands.

I got the tour of the shop, warehouse (tons of parts stocked like Gen2R blowers, Roush stuff and pretty well everything that he sells on his site). Saw a few cars they were working on and testing and his various depts. located in the main office building (tuning, media, reception etc etc).

I have some pics and will upload them later today, overall pretty nice place to check out if you are in the area.

Justin was pretty cool, he made time for my visit (he did get called away a couple times for urgent business stuff) but took time to answer what questions I asked him and was pretty thorough with explaining things. His answers will help me down the road with my GT500 mod plans.

Oh yeah, I didn't know till recently what VMP stood for, Justin explained that when he started the company it was called "Velocity Mustang Performance". Then as his business took off the name was changed to "VMP Tuning" and currently it is called "VMP Performance".

I'm now back home (arrived yesterday, great vacay).

You should've grabbed as many 2650 TVS's as you could carry and made a run for it.

LOL, yeah the thought did cross my mind (especially when JS stepped out for those couple times on his important business stuff) but I think his staff and the security cameras would've made a short run of me carrying them to the car.

That first pic in post #4 was just 1 pallet of Gen2R blowers sitting there for Coyotes, there are lots of pallets of EVERYTHING.

Very cool Tony.
Any Gen 3 TVS 2650 discussion? :)

A little, probably nothing you didn't already know. That TVS is nice (you saw the pic of it in the display cabinet I take it), but it would be quite a while for me to get one if ever unfortunately.

Hey, thanks for stopping by Tony.

We'll have tons of new VMP Gen3 info coming out in the coming weeks.

No problem Justin, it was great to meet you for the first time. I'm sure we'll meet again at shows or even another visit to VMP next time I'm in Florida. :)

Justin sure has come a long ways in the last 10 Years with this business. Always been a good tuner, but that TVS really put them on the map!

Didn't talk about that, I knew BJ was with VMP but didn't know he had left during the time I was there.
