TRX - Picked some up at $0.10 (0.00007899 ETH). Not huge on this one, just looking to double it and take out half.

The spike in Ethereum on Coinbase makes me want to pull anything over my initial investment out and just bank it, and continue to let $500 do whatever it can.

Opinions/advice?

ETH is gonna need to cool down like everything else in my opinion. Right now I am only looking to get XRP in the $1.50ish area or BAT between $0.50-$0.75. Those will be long-term holds. Anything else is just a flip right now. If ETH takes a 20%-30% hit from here (not that big a deal at all), I would imagine it will create some great buying opportunities. I think there were allot of people who got in this stuff heading into the New Year and will panic sell when they start seeing -50%+. Lots of weak hands in crypto I think.

I have my initial investment in ETH that I will never pull out, but I have about $500 that I have put into a number of other coins that I am using to work towards getting more ETH. I let the smaller ones work and then if the stars align and they start to fall off while Ethereum is on the rise, which it usually is, then I pull the slumping ones over to Ethereum and let it work for a bit.

Maybe not the best strategy but it seems to be working somewhat well for me. I've basically went from being in just two or three smaller coins with a couple hundred shares each to having over 1000 TRX, 150 XRP, 100 LEND, 400 POE, and 215 BAT right now along with my 2 ETH. Just figuring that out now as I type this is crazy considering I started around 2 weeks ago on Binance with only about 100 XRP and 200 TRX as my two main investments on there iirc. I'm sure there was some other transaction in there that I am forgetting but I know I haven't put too much into those smaller ones. I'm basically working with all the LTC profits I initially had.

Man everything is down in the crapper today except ETH..... wish I would have waited a little longer to buy into some alts lol.

Granted I'm sure it will all come back eventually.

Buy the dips, sell the rips. Take profits along the way. Nobody ever went broke taking profits, but always leave some to catch a big move if it comes.

When I was day trading last year there was a ticker (can't remember it for the life of me right now) that I purchased at the EXACT right moment. It was the absolute perfect entry moments before it took off on a short squeeze. I was positioned not that big, but I was up about $1,500 in less than one minute. I let my emotions come in, sold it all, and watched it continue to climb. Long story short, I left about $25k on the table because I sold all of it in a panic to lock in profits.

Vice versa, I have done the opposite where I let FOMO (fear of missing out) make me rush into something, only to see it tank right after I get in.

Always have a plan, don't let emotions make your decisions, and always take profits.

I would HIGHLY recommend the book "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator", it is absolute gold.

"It sounds very easy to say that all you have to do is to watch the tape, establish your resistance points and be ready to trade along the line of least resistance as soon as you have determined it. But in actual practice a man has to guard against many things, and most of all against himself – that is, against human nature"

Man this bank account transfer screwed me. Can't use my debit until that one clears. Just sitting here watching TRX go up and down 30% daily.

I’m in a pump group with some whales...we pumped DENT & DBC recently, currently working on POLL.

Btw, DENT, PRL, ENG, BNTY, POE....I’ve been in them for a while. They are good long-term holds.

I tried that one time for the last time. I bought as soon as the signal came and I bought near the high and it was already down before I could even refresh the screen. Seems like the admins bought it an sold it just after everyone bought...left lots of people out to dry. Deleted that group and now holding. Fortunately it was only a couple $100.

I cashed out on my ripple too. I said I was going to hold on forever but I didn't have it in me. I know selling on the dip is not the smart thing to do but I bought in at $.50 so I still made out like crazy. Like some of you have said, take out your profit. I decided to do that to cover my original investments on Coinbase. Now just playing around with what I made so far.

Still sitting on tron, ada, and a few bucks in some small ones.

Yeah, I just moved my profits to date to the bank. Left the initial investments in to do whatever they're going to do.

VIBE was added to Binance 1/09 at .41. Up over 400% since.

And am I doing something wrong or are the charts on Binance F@#$ horrible? I select anything over 30m timeframe and the data is all crammed down on one side of the chart.

How would you know ahead of time that it was going to be put on that exchange? Would be nice to buy ahead of that.

As i've said many times, holding and hoping is not a strategy and will leave you holding the bag more often than not. During this whole crash the past few days I have lost $0 because I cut losses quickly and moved my money into safe coins while I wait for the crash to be over. I have already cashed out my initial investment and am just playing with a significant amount of free money at this point but I have yet to lose a significant amount in all these crashes because im not willing to holding anything that's not performing.

As said above that would be insider trading same as what coin will be added to Coinbase next. The best you can do it join Binance on Twitter and get notifications. They notified everyone about 20mins before it went live. Only problem is it went live at 2am EST...

I bought some VIBE so we will see.
