Hello everybody. My name is Roger and I've been a Ford man ford all my life. I guess my father got me started helping him work on all the fords he drove. I've owned quit a few fords myself over the years.Right now I own a 1965 Ford Falcon Futera two hard top. I sold my FFR Cobra last summer and bought this car. I look forward to learning a lot of new things from this forum. Roger

Well ain't that sexy! I had a friend in college who had a '65 Futura back in the mid '70's. I always thought it was badass.

Yes it was. But I've had skin cancer on my face four times in the last eight years. The last year it was melanoma cancer. The other times it was basal cell. The last time it scared the hell out of me. I sold the Cobra and bought the Falcon so I would have a roof over my head. I plan to have the windows tinted and ware alot of sun screen.

I know what you mean, Roger. I had Mohs surgery on my face for a basal cell carcinoma. The surgeon did a really good job of reconstruction and you can barely tell that he cut me from the inside corner of my eye, down along the side of my nose to the corner of my mouth. Awake the whole time. The worst part was injecting the sedative by my eye. Good lord I thought I was gonna rip the arms off the chair!

Smooth sounds like you went through a real experience. I was lucky, I was under the whole 5 hrs. I was really surprised how well it all healed up. It doesn't show up very much at all. You really have to look closely to see the scares.
