Wait, is cooking steaks on the chimney a thing?
Not cooking, just searing. The steak was cooked via "Sous Vide" first. To properly sear though you need something really, really hot and a charcoal chimney at full song is hard to beat as far as intense concentrated heat. 60 seconds per side is all that's required.

And the rest of the story...

I had a stroker motor built. It started bending push rods like this. The shop that built it, told me to buy thicker push rods. I did. Bent those too.

The guy who built it was baffled, said he did everything right.

I had them put in dual beehive type springs during the build. Talking with the company that sold me everything, the tech there was baffled too.

So, back n forth we went, box after box of push rods getting bent.

Company I bought everything from, the tech finally said could be the machine shop did not machine the spring pads? Went on to say he doubts that, cause you cant install those springs on stock head...

I ask the machine shop, "You machine the head for the valve springs..?" NOPE, why would we do that? Shop also said it was a real bitch to get the springs on, broke his tool installing them..

I had to pull that head, and take it back to get machined.
