Back to report that it feels insane now!!! I’d guess low 12s. Incredible amount of gain for the money!
That's awesome man.
So, I "assume" just a new ECU and tune with no new engine hardware?

Infiniti Q70L is a low 13 second car whereas the precious SHO is a high 13 second car. Not to mention that the infiniti is way better all around. That being said, this is not a discussion of modded vs. stock daily drivers.

Used CTSV will shit all over a SHO any day of the week and can be found for high 40's low 50's. Want to argue what a SHO can do against a CTSV?
Car and Driver tested the Q70L with the 5.6, it ran a 14.1.

Love my Focus RS. tune only, 335/400 to the tires with a conservative setup

It may be small to you, but I've yet to have an issue. Hell, I've fit a Weber 3 burner grill in the trunk back when I had my ST

There is no better feeling than the torque vectoring AWD ripping you out of the apex with 400lb foot at 3500rpm

Not super fast in a straight line, but I got a 770+who Cobra for that check box

Plus, lets be real. Its got drift mode for lots of sideways snow action.

Car definitely has it's drawbacks, as does any. But, I absolutely love mine. I honestly don't know what I'd drive after/instead.

Maybe Audi RS3 used when the price comes down? I usually only buy Ford, but that car definitely interests me

Kia Stinger GT

Twin Turbo V6 AWD(and it's based off of RWD)

I think I'll grab one myself over the next year for a new daily driver.

Could you not find a Jeep SRT?
I wouldn't piss on a Jeep SRT if it was on fire and I was 60 miles from civilization in the middle of a Canadian winter.
We have a 2014 in our corporate fleet (very small fleet)

It was ordered loaded with the alcantara interior. Within the first 6 months they replaced the differential, drive shaft, dashboard screen and front ball joints.
The infotainment screen has been ****ed with several times because it freezes and has been replaced twice.
Front ball joints are done every 25,000 miles like clockwork.
The vehicle is not beat on.

The worst thing is that you are treated like crap whenever you bring it in for service. They try to give you a Fiat 500 as a loaner vehicle.

I get 1,000 times better service when I bring my Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans in for scheduled maintenance.
They always have a loaner vehicle for me or my employees.

I've had nothing but great service from Mercedes. I buy the prepaid maintenance and extended warranty and get rid of them within that timeframe. I have a known fixed cost and all I add is brakes and tires.

My kid is getting one of these. I haven't seen it yet, but I have to admit it looks really good in the pictures he sent me.

Yeah, that's the main reason I stayed away from looking at the Jeeps. All of my friends who have purchased these over the years have had a HUGE list of broken shit.

Audi RS3 is going to be a monster with that 5 banger.
Yeah,.....I've been eyeing the 2018 RS3 as well. What a killer car.
With just a tune, they are stupid quick. Heck, right out the box, they do 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Top speed of 155 and if you get the specific package, you can bump that up to 174 top speed.
The things that turned me away from it were that that it does not come with remote start. I want/need the remote start. I use the remote start with my truck every morning and when it's under 40 degrees, it automatically turns on the heated seats, steering wheel, outside mirrors and window defroster. (Beats going outside to fire it up, come back inside, finish getting ready for work and then go back outside when it's warmed up or defrosted.) I'm sure it can "be added" after the fact, but I'm more sure/confident if the install when it comes from the factory than after the fact, whether it be the dealership or a professionally auto sound store.

KIA has really stepped up their game over the last decade. Back in 2011ish when the new Sorento was released I ended up buying one new as my DD. The interior/fit/finish was very good and the luxury options for the money was amazing.

After 5 years I traded it in with 99950 miles(100k warranty), and the only thing it ever went into the shop for was the Sirius antenna wire came lose from the back of the head unit.

I'd wager he is going to be very happy with that new Stinger(though I hope he's getting a GT)

Stinger was just on "The Grand Tour" and it looked pretty good.

If I remember the Lightning Lap, it was slower than a Focus ST though.

Its more of a "boat" than a backroad carver. I guess it depends what you're looking for

Well it is a true 4 door car(with a large cargo area).

One group did a comparison between it and a 15-17 Mustang GT(I don't remember the year but it wasn't an 18) in the 1/4, and it was putting down almost identical times to the mustang same track/same day...slightly quicker if I remember.

Not bad for sporty 4 door. And it comes in avalanche grey(with burgundy interior!) as pictured above..I mean come on...

I haven't seen its lightning lap test, I'll see if I can find that.

I'm pretty sure that's what it was.

Focus RS guys were talking about it on their forums

For a commuter and kid hauler, this or the Genesis g70 in awd tt v6 flavor will be high on my list when I replace my current 15 sonata commuter.
