'13+ E63s AMG my vote but I rock a Charger HC on performance snow tires so I don't see the need for AWD

Hey Gang,

I'm leaning heavily on getting rid of my Subaru outback and getting something sportier and with more luxury. Here are my requirements.

1. Somewhat fast BUT good in the snow as well

2. AWD

3. 4 doors as I have 5 going on 6 kids...I won't ever haul them all in it, but the wife will bitch if it doesn't have 4 doors.

Here is my short list...

1. Porsche Panamera AWD...can't decide on if i'd get the base 6 banger or ass ripping v8. Much cheaper to get the 6 awd but is it that much fast than my Subaru with just 300hp...does anyone know if the awd 8 cylinder is any good in the snow?

2. Audi A8

3. Jaguar XF AWD 3.0

4. Focus RS...way too small to really be considered but it's on my mind...

Help me out! The Subaru has been great...I have the 3.6R engine and it's peppy, but not very exciting.

Not sure what to get...you guys helped me pick the ZR1 a few months back, so I figure I would reach out again.

Thanks!
I was jokingly going to reply Mercedes-Benz AMG E63 S Wagon but since the Porsche Panamera is in your price range then the E63 isn't out of your price range.

Well since I just got one yesterday I will throw my two cents in and say get a gently used Lincoln MKS ecoboost. AWD, really nice interior, adaptive suspension and all the bells and whistles you could ask for.
Which motor does the Lincoln have?

FlahDah man.
I agree. EU cars are piles of expensive shit.
Not that expensive when you have money. It is a relative thing. As far as POS they seem to be the cars that US makers want to emulate for luxury, and style. Not to mention cars that do a great job of handling smoothly at high speed and long touring trips.

My convertible hits it's stride at 90, too bad US drivers and infrastructure suck on a scale that would make Germans vomit bratwurst into their goulash mit brotchen und kase.

Ive had 2 Audi S4's that I drove all winter (in MA). They were both manual (if thats important to you). I stopped the sedan for winter, because of ground / snow clearance (or lack there of). Now we have SUV's and a Raptor.

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but, an 03 or 04 Cobra. I know it's not AWD, but, man, the trunk space on that thing is insane. Not to mention it is pretty much a super car in stock form.

Jeep SRT-8 would take the win.

A sho is not "fast" compared to certain cars like a Panamera, let alone a turbo model.

The new infiniti sedans are nice too, with AWD to boot and they're quick.

I agree with you on the Raptor. I think the Tahoe RST is going to be a flop.

2014+ Jeep SRT, if it was my money.

^this. Give one a try.

The trunk space may be big on a terminator, but I don't think it's a good idea to put kids in the trunk...
