honestly this is the car she keeps mentioning. i got my gt350 and its fairly well modded. this car is more her style and she likes the chevy stuff. im not a huge fan but i can appreciate anything that moves out and handles like that.

There is a black z28 with 2k miles on it local to me for 40k. I don’t know where you’re at but the Z28 is pretty neat.

Looks like a nice ride other than all the extra ricer splitter/groud effects/ spoiler add ons.

ZL1 is a BADASS ride. Stout car for sure, no real worry with those.

I'd pass on any 5th gen.

Unless you are trying not to get beat in your 350...then totally get a 5th. :)

Doesn't look bad. With most any blower car, biggest thing is keeping them cool. The methanol injection system is another tank to keep full. You being close to JRod Speed Shop in Houston and the tuner Matt Sorian makes the purchase a lot easier IMO, as they know the car better than the owner most likely. You should probably talk to them before you buy, get their opinion. Find out if its capped out or has room to grow. I'd have them detune it for sure, for your wife. 707whp on a mustang dyno is a handful, I'm sure. Pulley it up and send it, Or just keep it on a 15x10/DR all the time.

As other's have stated if you can swing a 6th gen, do that. The 6th Gen ZL1 is the pony car to beat at the moment. If i hadn't talked so much shit about Chevrolet, I'd be tempted to go sit in a new ZL1 with the 10 speed. I can't move laterally to Chevrolet lol, Vette/Viper or bust now.

Exactly. Which is why they dropped to the prices mentioned.

If they were in the 40-50s for 18+ months then I completely missed that.

I only noticed late last year.

My next door neighbor (in his 50's) has a black ZL1 2013 (manual) with 4k miles just sitting in his garage. Recently asked if I have any car buddies that would be interested, market value. Would be perfect if you were closer.

They don't get much love here but I like the car.
