Holy hell, I dont know how much it costs to run on the ring, but there should be corner workers waving yellow and even red flags. :(

Some of those people had to have been hurt. What a helpless feeling the camera guy must have been feeling.

Definitely some good whacks in there.

Was surprised at how "calm" he was seeing his car get hit. Smart move by him not trying to wave down guys on that side of the barrier.

Curious how many of those drivers thought "what is this idiot doing" right before they found out.

+1 on some sort of colored lighting system or something in the corners to warn drivers.

The camera guy saved that from being much worse than what it was. He deserves a medal. It didn't appear as though he could not see past the wreck that was in front of him due to the smoke, so he pulled over. At least from what I could tell watching on my phone.

Proceed with caution... not sure he helped as much as if he and the rest of the cars got out of there asap.... that track is very high speed and lots of blind turns. If there are vehicle stopped on the track it equals this kind of mess ....

I would never take anything to the ring, if you're not apart of some prototype program or a factory driver maybe even going after a record it doesn't seem like a place i'd wanna flip a bill for. Chances of you getting good clean laps in seem small to due to the clusters and messes like this anyways. I'd still kill to watch a 787b rip the ring apart.

Thats crazy. How did some of those guys notice and slow down and other just fly right into it? it didn't look like a blind turn but that porsche there at the end was hauling ass and hit that guy stopped on the left hard

Don't take anything to the track you can't leave there!
WELL said! Those were some nasty crashes. I felt bad for the guy with the camera who pulled off to the side and then tried valiantly to warn others. Looked like his car got hit really hard.

A friend of mine used to take his WRX when he was stationed in Germany. When I asked him about all the crashes, he said they weren't all that common. What you see in vids is days and weeks of filming to get the 20 minute compilation.

Holy shit. How is there no flagman on those blind corners? Even if they just let volunteers do it.
