How to find out which dealers have allocations for '18 Raptors?

I'm in the market for 2018 Raptor, and trying to figure out which dealers have allocations where I can still build to spec. I don't mind traveling a few hundred miles from where I am in MA if I can get exactly what I want.

Anyone know of an online tool to help figure that out? The thought of cold calling/emailing a bunch of dealerships is not that exciting. And I want mine basically stripped. All the ones I'm seeing are coming out at ~$65K+. I totally get that Ford wants the money, and people will pay to get this vehicle that is in demand, but I'm also curious to learn how long the lead-time is to wait for a Raptor to my specs.

Oh, and I'm not willing to pay ADM. This is going to be interesting...

There is not an online tool to see dealer's allocations.

I had a feeling. Thanks for the reply. Guess it’s time to fire up the phone banks.

Any tips on specific questions or buzzwords I should use when calling around? I’m sure every dealer would be happy to take my deposit, but any direction on how to know they’re being honest with me on whether or not they have an allocation and whether or not to trust them when they’re quoting me a lead time? Many thanks.

I know you’re in Missouri, but i saw you are a dealer. I was going to try Herb Chambers in Westboro, MA and the Tasca family in RI. Any first- or second-hand exposure to their reputations? Thanks so much.

I work in Westborough and drive by HC’s every day. With that said I see at least two raptors outside each time. Might be a good choice to contact them.
Not sure about Tasca, but they are a huge volume dealer so it couldn’t hurt to check.

Great feedback Dip. Thanks for the tip.

I saw on Herb’s website that a couple of his Ford dealerships had Raptors and I even went to his place in Westboro to look at a ‘17 a couple weeks ago. What I don’t like are his inconsistent business practices of allowing some of his Ford dealers to charge ADM while others do not.

I think my biggest struggle is going to be finding a Ford dealership in New England who will allow me to spec my own ‘18 and only charge me MSRP.

Tasca in RI sold me my current 2013 under msrp when I ordered it. I'm sure its much different for Gen2's but probably worth it to check with them. I'll probably be checking with them first when I'm ready for a new one.

Tasca is a good organization.

I would give them a call.

My dealer (small town) let me order my 18 SCAB the way I wanted it with $0 deposit and at MSRP. I'm not sure if they have any allocations left but if you don't mind flying to central TX or shipping it, I'd be happy to pass along their information.

If they have another allocation they can drop ship it to his nearest dealer if he orders it. The receiving dealer will charge $250-500 for a courtesy delivery.

Here www.raptorfinder.com

These are already on the lots, but you can eliminate them by options. If you find what you want it will cost you $25 to get the VIN, which is a bunch of BS, but easier than searching for hours.
